Another thing you must have is a human who is willing to become a skeleten. That is the problem with this. The thing that you will reserrect will not be his body, it will be a skeleten that contains his power. The skeleten does not have a spirit. You must bring a WILLING human who knows what will happen to them.

If you get here with all the bones and a willing human, then you must lay out the full skeleten, including the parts in the coffin, onto the alter of Saradomin in the coffin room. The willing human will lie in what remains of the coffin. A person who is NOT the person in the coffin must read the words inscribed on the wall above the alter. What will happen is that the person laying in the coffin'* body will die, and their spirit will enter into the skeleten.

The skeleten will now be under the controll of the willing human. Their mind will stay intact, it is just that their body will be the skeleten. They will have all the strength of Tarcan, and if they reach under the alter they will find Tarcan's sword.

Having this person on your side will be a big help in winning you any war.

Zyalen.

There was a frantic buzz on the other end as the king dictated to his scribes. Then a voice came from the orb.

"Rettan, try to open the doors."

"Yes, sir." Rettan gulped, touching the doors and quickly snatching his hand away as though the stone might burn him. He pulled at one of the steel handles. For a second it seemed as though nothing had happened, and then, though the doors stayed shut, the bright gold runes faded, being replaced with a few lines of writing.

"Sir, I tried to open the door. The runes faded away and more writing came."

"What did it say?"

"It said: You do not have the bones, nor a willing human. Do not try to breach the doors again on peril of your life."

A thoughtful sigh came from the king's end. Then he spoke.

"Try again to open the doors."

Rettan couldn't believe it.

"Are you joking, sire?"

"No, I'm not. Try again."

"Sire, are you trying to get me killed? You heard what the doors said!"

"Don't worry, nothing will happen. I've seen this before, nothing will happen if you try again. It's just trying to tell if you're brave or not." the king lied.

"Are you really sure?" Rettan asked doubtfully.

"Yes, I'm sure. Try again."

Reaching out with a quivering hand, Rettan tentively jerked on the doors. Once again the writing faded and new words appeared.

"It says the same thing again, except now it also says that if I try again I'll be killed."

"Interesting." came the king's voice. Then a buzz as he said something to someone at his end. Finally he spoke again. "Try again, I think that you'll get in this time."

Rettan thought about it. After all, nothing had happened last time, and if he got in then maybe the king would reward him for it. Still, he didn't think it was a good idea.

"Have you tried again?"

"No sir, I'm just going to."

Rettan took a deep breath, and pulled the handle.

The king sat on his throne, listening to the orb.

He heard a slight clunk as Rettan pulled the handle again, and then another noise. A scream came from the orb, then the sound of crackling flames. More screams followed, then a heavy sound as though something had fallen to the ground.

Right after that the sound of smashing glass came through the orb, then the conection went dead. Evidently Rettan's orb had been destroyed.

The king handed his orb to a servant, then pulled a rope. A man ran into the room, kneeling down at the feet of the king.

"Yes, sire?"

"Go to Drelint, and tell him that he has been promoted to chief surveyor."

"Yes, sire." the man exited the throne room.

King Chaltas leaned back on his throne. All was right with his life.
