For days, I had been in the frozen hunter area poking and letting Kyatts chase me. Only to watch them fall into the pit traps I made. It was kinda funny. Stupid kitties.
I didn't know a group of Kyatts had been stalking me. Five in total had been waiting in the snow, crouched and out of my field of view.
Hours upon hours of hunting and running around had left me winded. "One more" I thought to myself. What would it hurt.
I made the pit trap and poked the Kyatt. It got a good swipe on me. Not the way I wanted to get the blood flowing.
I hopped over the trap. So did it. I circled around several times, hopping over the trap, making sure I didn't fall in. This Kyatt was too clever, it made srue it didn't fall in either.
I circled around one more time, but the Kyatt didn't move. It was waiting for me.
"This is different" I thought to myself.
Sure, the big cat was waiting for me, but it didn't have a good angle to jump back over the trap to get to me. And it was on the other side of the pit. No matter. I'll just run away. Not like it can get me.
Then I turned around.
Five. 4 Kyatts had snuck up behind me while I was focused on the one on the other side of the pit. One more joined the Kyatt on the other side.
The Kyatts got some Hunter XP that day ..........................................
