The man’s shout waned in strength as it travelled the width of the forest. The arrow, on the other hand, flew true to its mark; A streak of crimson grazed across Rebekka’s cheek. Startled, she lost her balance, landing square on her tail bone with a slight yelp.

Panicked, Rebekka hastily considered a retreat back into the woods – but the thought was quickly dispelled by the idea of a second shot in the back. Staying here guaranteed a second shot, maybe… perhaps they would just assume it was a stray animal and move on?

‘Hey! Quit shooting over here! You might actually hit me!’ – well, that is what Rebekka wanted to say. What actually came out was something more along the lines of “
S-s-stop it!

Putting her hands in the air, she glared at the archer in the trees – daring him to shoot her.

(( I will not hit you up for powerplaying unless it severely impacts my ability to post – especially since it’ll take more than a stray arrow to kill this character. ))

"Dude! What the hell! Stop shooting! Are you crazy!' yelled Jack in panic he went running towards the direction he heard the girl yelled from.

Jack ran towards where the voice came from until he saw the girl he then said instantly with both panic and fear in his voice, "Are you alright..." asking the question which had an obvious answer to which she had a cut on her cheek so she isn’t ok.

The whole situation was making Jack feel uneasy not knowing where he is, meeting strangers, a stranger shoots a bow hurting someone and feeling like he was in the worst place Jack didn't know what to do, he thought about offering the girl one of the vials in the bag but he wasn't sure what they did really and not sure if he should give it to this girl.

After the arrow went through the bush Anton quickly realized that his course of action was not the best one. The fact that he was in this situation may have led him to make this preemptive strike, but he felt bad nonetheless after hearing a woman's voice.

"
****...
" He mumbled silently to himself, putting the bow around his torso with the string on his front and wooden part on back. Anton let himself free fall for about 7 feet before grabbing a thick branch, and haulting his fall. He then let go and fell to the ground, rolling instantly after making contact with the grass. After rising to his feet he walked over to where he shot the arrow.

Upon seeing the woman he just almost killed, an overwhelming sense of grief struck him that he had not felt in a long time. It was not simply because he nearly killed this innocent girl, but the memories that came to his mind seeing her on the ground with the sanguine colored liquid on her cheek struck his very soul.

--
You missed!
-- The creeping dark passenger uttered as Anton leaned over and offered his hand to the girl.

"
I-I'm sorry.
" He said with an apologetic tone to his voice. He understood the apology would do little to comfort the lady but it was all he had at the time to give her.

((Of course, I just mean if I shoot at anyone I'd rather leave it up to them where it is the arrow lands. This way we prevent any possible arguments :) ))

For only a flesh wound, Rebekka’s cheek bleed dramatically. Blood dribbled down the side of her face, smearing her skin in the thick liquid. Holding a hand over the wound to compress the bleeding, she was surprised to find it did*’t hurt… at least, not yet. Shock was a wonderful anaesthetic, it seemed.

As the two men approached to extend their sympathies, her nerve returned in a heartbeat. She was mad, cross… she wanted so badly to just cross her arms and let them have it. But, since they were the first people she had seen since she came to the forest, she decided to let the grudge go – at least, for now.

*
So, I’m sure you boys have good reason for shooting girls in your back yard with bows and arrows, huh?
” She asked sternly.

clunk

It was a dull, muted sound that came along with Asher hitting the ground like a sack of bricks. The young man lay there on grass that had not been there a moment ago, groaning quietly as his wits returned to him.

"Wha...? Where...?" He managed, eyes opening as his head lifted to take a look at his new surroundings. His vision swam but quickly returned to focus, the swirling patterns that had been blocking them for the last... However long, drifting away until they were nothing more than a memory. He saw grass, trees and bushes, but not a whole lot else. This was still more than enough to make him stand, rising somewhat groggily as his balance reoriented itself.

"How did I get here...?" Asher looked around slowly, allowing his body to regain full functionality, but saw nothing more than what he'd already seen. He clutched his pounding head with both hands, groaning again, when his eyes suddenly lit up as if a thought suddenly struck him. He lowered his hands and looked around a little more quickly, seeming more alert. "That portal-thing! It... I was sucked through it? Where'd it take me?"

Glancing down as something caught his eye Asher saw it was not only foliage in the vicinity, but a large bag just a few feet from where he'd been lying. After only brief hesitation he stepped over to it and crouched down, opening it up and rummaging through its contents, though his expression only grew into confusion as he identified each object... Including some that should not have fit in a bag of this size.

He found clothes, weapons and armour within the bag. Looking them over in silence, gears turning in his mind as he considered them, Asher eventually just... Nodded. He looked surprised by his own action, at least for a moment, before a look of unusual determination replaced his confusion. Without further delay he stripped away his clothes and put on the set he found in the bag, tossing his old ones aside to be forgotten.

Asher finished locking the plated armour into place on his body and made to move around, walking and moving his limbs, crouching, leaning forwards and such, apparently testing the flexibility of his new protection. The young man looked satisfied, and a little surprised, by the amount of freedom he retained after donning the gear. While he was unable to move with quite the same level of agility he was used to, it was far better than he had been expecting.

The speed at which he adapted to the situation, donning the equipment left for him (which fit perfectly), was a little abnormal. No longer did he appear confused, merely determined, though nothing seemed to explain the swift acceptance of his situation. Nevertheless he managed to attach the short sword, with scabbard, to his side and strapped the shield to his back, then grabbing the helmet and putting it on after another short hesitation. Finally, Asher took hold of the spear and turned to face a random direction. All of the foliage looked the same.

But even so, he started to walk.

"Into the unknown..."

"I didnt shoot the arrow, so we are in someone's backyard? Is that where we are?" Jack then said seeing the blood made him feel uneasy. He then said, ''I'm sorry though...by the way I'm Jack I just met the dude with the bow I think his name was Andy..." forgetting Anton's name for a split second.

Jack decided he might as well try to help the girl he pulled a vial with some red liquid it, this is the one he spilled on his cut finger that fixed his wound he then said nervously not use to talking to girls, "Here I...I...I think this will help that cut...just found it and it help with a cut i got earlier...here.' He held the vial out to be grabbed by the girl if she would take it.

"
No, I don't usually shoot girls
". Anton replied with a slight but hardly noticeable emphasis on the word girls. The memories he was truck with started to simmer back down, and crawl every so slowly back into the rat maze of his brain. The darkest corners in there seemed to be pulsating towards the surface, despite years of repression.

Seeing as how Jack would take care of the girl, and how Anton didn't really care much about the fact that the man didn't remember his name he began looking around again. Seemingly he moved on about shooting the girl almost 10 seconds after it happend. He stepped to the right and took a few seconds to think.

"
Do you remember anything?
" He asked both of them, Rebekka and Jack. Maybe if they brain stormed for a few minutes they could remember small details about how they got here.

--
Kill them both, while they're distracted
. -- The dark passenger whispered, causing Anton to stick his left index finger into his ear and rub it vigorously for a second or two. He turned and looked at them awaiting a reply.

Rebekka ignored the vial the man offered, instead focusing on their spoken replies. Frowning for a second, she considered their statements – took a moment to gauge her emotions. Furrowing her brow, she realised she did not need a second to consider what she felt.

So, you’re just as clueless as I am.
” She snickered, folding her arms. *
Wait. No. You guys are serious, aren’t you. Great. We’re so doomed.

A warm trickle tickled her cheek - Rebekka having realised all too late that her hand was the only thing holding back the tide of blood. Now free, the tide… had already ebbed. While the blood on her face remained fresh, no more blood poured from the wound.

"I remember my hallucination, before whatever tossed me into the bushes. I was walking home and a weird vortex pulled me through then I was hurling through some dark space, heard a voice then I landed in the bushes...that's what I remember at least that's what I remember from my hallucination..." answered Jack when asked what he remembered.

Jack then pulled his hands back and put the vial away he then said nervously, "At least we aren't alone I mean with three of us we can hopefully find out what is going on..."
