Turaek stands up and walks with the man. They walk in silence for only a few minutes, but the humid jungle takes its toll on them.
They enter a small wooden house on a large bluff above the beautiful, blue-green sea. The calls of tropical birds can be heard echoing from the dense, tropical jungle. On the clearest of days, Crash Island can be seen, just below the horizon.
“Sit Tylas, your old bones are probably aching from that long walk.” Turaek chuckled.
“HA! I may be old, but I could whip the tar outta you!”
“I don’t doubt that. So what have you been doing for the last 45 years?*
*Has it been long since you left? Wow! We must be getting old.” Tylas laughed. “Anyways, I’ve been working in Lumbridge as the Lumbridge Guide.”
Tylas face became very serious. “I haven’t gone 200 miles out to the middle of nowhere just to chat. I came here to discuss matters of the utmost importance.”
Tylas pauses as if he’s choosing his words carefully. “By the looks of it, we’re gonna need your help….again.”
Turaek starts to feel suspicious. *What do you mean ‘we’? “
“Well, ‘we’ as in all of Gielinor.” He pauses again. “The world is in grave peril! I’m afraid that big changes are coming up faster than ‘we’ can handle.”
Turaek jumps up from his chair and angrily shouts,” If you need my help that’s too dang* bad! I gave up my old life 45 years ago! I’m not going back!”
Tylas, who’s face was looking more and more his age with every word of Turaek’s, spoke. “I’m sorry you feel that way, but Gielinor needs your help.”
“Do you remember our last mission? DO YOU?”
“Yes, and I’m sorry for your loss but—“
“But nothing! I told you I’m through!” snapped Turaek.
Tylas had had enough. If he did*’t get Rolad…er Turaek, to help, then the end of the world may be sooner than everyone thought.
“GODS DANGIT* TURAEK! DO YOU KNOW WHAT HAPPENED THREE DAYS AGO? DO YOU?”
