Now, let me say that I enjoyed what I read. I was able to deduce from what I read that this was an excellent story, worthy of the Ruby Quill. Similes were apparent throughout the piece (Not often seen) and I felt some tension (well, a lot, actually XD)
The things that I felt were missing was that it had little emotion. I felt more like a spectator then a person actually there. That is all that's keeping you from an Onyx Quill. While it might sound small it can actually change your whole story.
I shall finsih reading this when I get the time! Hopefully you'll be able to break the barrier one day!
