My difficulty is that I am only a member because of a two-week free subscription offered to me by JaGeX, obviously to entice me to return (they were successful) and repurchase a membership (they were unsuccessful, I have no cash and am beginning college in a few months). As much as I'd love to stay, it really doesn't seem possible at this point.
I actually have somewhat of a confession to make (perhaps I've told this story before, but probably not in this way). WoV was actually born of my immaturity. I had, in fact, tried to enter a guild without reading the rules, a rather foolish thing. I wasn't exactly pleased with my application's (well-deserved) decline, and formed WoV out of "revenge."
I'd like to think I'm far more mature now, and I'm glad a couple of mistakes on my part supplied a greater good to more people; it is a rare occurrence that the faults of one give benefits to others.
EDIT: May I inquire as to the character (and QFC?) of the SD?

Well, maturity is the product of learning, so everyone has to go through a few regrets every now and then. I have made many mistakes, and I still repeat the same issues, but it's not about how good you can stay, it's about how well you can progress after making mistakes.

It's good to see you back, Matt, even if it is only for a short time while Jagex attempts to lure you into subscription. If you spend your membership on a few days of training, you can secure posting privileges for your account that last during F2P. Last I checked the level requirement was 500 total level or something similar.
It would be nice to see you floating around again.

So it turns out I have a total level of incredibly satisfactory, so I'm good on forum posts. You most likely will still see little of me, as I really have no reason to play without membership, so times like these will be conjugal (I don't think that's spelled correctly) visits. I'll see whether or not I'll resubscribe in aseptember, as I'll have finished preparing for college by then (to think I started this in 2007! I was what, in 7th or 8th grade?).
