I'd like everybody to be aware that I am holding a Story Contest on my "Well Told Tales" thread, incase anybody is interested.

I've got an idea for it already, but I'm afraid I probably won't have time to write it, since I'm already occupied with another writing project currently.

Good luck with it though.

Do you have a rubic for this? It gives the contestants a little more confidence :)

Awe. Well know that you're always welcome. Also, the piece doesn't have to be very long (200 words is the minimum) and it isn't due until May 8th. =p

Rubic? No. Do you mean "Rubric"? As in the a form of set-in, classified areas in which I will be judging?

I might create one. But it would be rather short.

Edit: I actually have removed the 200 word minimum. That's unnecessary. I don't mind if the story is only 5 words long, if it's good. =p

Yes, alright, I misspelled it.

It would be clearer to the contestant because if it's just based on comments or errors alone, they'll feel that you're easily biased :)

Oh, and I think you should know that I have never won any writing contest in my life :P

Okay.

That's true. I posted a rubric on the Well Told Tales thread, as you suggested. It should help, even though its quite brief. =p

That surprises me. But if you submit a really amazing outstanding wonderful entry, you might win this one! Lol.

This contest is rather casual though, so it wouldn't be a big deal to win or to lose. I'm just trying to get the community involved in a few things, and story contests seem the most suitable kind of event for this forum.

Nah, I think I kinda gave up on writing contests in general.

Bring the community together is a noble goal, in fact, you should come into Dreamweaver's cc a bit more. People will be ******** me off as usual, but it should be a nice hang-about place for ya :)
