I see a few things off... Like Nex isn't mentioned there, and she's one of the most loyal followers. And Zaros did promise the Dragon Riders, he only failed to do so when he discovered the limit of his powers to help them - while researching how to cure them, he also 'created' Nex as well.

The curse was likely made up by anti-Zaros propaganda (or the witnesses, despite what various memories and dialogue tells us that both Zamorak and Zaros were alone, misunderstood and thought the curse to be of Zaros' fault) and it's been implied that the Staff of Armadyl had a unfortunate side-effect on its holders in Lucien's memory.

Zaros also tells us that he had a indirect power he couldn't control fully - mortals could be under the influence of it, showing 'loyalty', not out of fear from his empire's growth. Zaros had no understanding of 'Evil' and 'Good' until he met Saradomin - before that, he couldn't think the Infernal world 'reeked of evil' otherwise.

Well then, it was a fine story otherwise.

No offence to the OP, but Tuffty this really isn't the place for this kind of stuff, its called lore discussion, not discussion of player made stories that hold zero canoncy in the lore of the game.

Hostilius didn't come to power until after the Infernals were overthrown, and Zaros didn't go to Hostilius until after he arrived on Gielinor.
