¥ Praxis Compositio Center ¥
Hello. This thread will serve as a hub and sort of community for daily practise writing. It is organised to host a limited number of continuously writing authors, so please be sure to read the entire first page before inquiring as to whether we can accept new members. This is a new form of collaborative writing that focuses cooperation not on the creation of a narrative but on the fulfillment of a writing obligation which will receive feedback. Because it is new and an endeavour like this has not been undertaken in several years, the Center welcomes feedback, input, and questions from anyone on how to improve its processes.
Praxis Compositio is a Latin phrase that describes the process of learning to write from continuous practise in composition through agreements with other authors. The Center will focus this idea into regular creative writing that rewards daily engagements in composition. The first month will be a trial to see what areas of the institution need reworking to be more realistic and helpful in the enhancement of our writing abilities.

¥ 1.4 -- PRAXIS COMPOSITIO FORMAT ¥
This post explains the format of praxis compositio.
Members will write regularly. They must submit at least 2,100 words of unique and newly generated content each week. Submissions must be received by Sunday 23:59:59 GMT.
There is an incentive to daily writing. Members who submit 200 words of unique and newly generated content per day will not be expected to meet the 2,100 word requirement.
Each week, stories may be culminatory or broken up into smaller sections. Members are encouraged to diversify their writing style over the month, and, in doing so, not carry themes on for more than a single week. This is merely a suggestion.
Users who do not submit at least 2,100 words per week or 200 words per day for three weeks out of the month will be expelled from the Center. They are free to apply at the beginning of the following month.

¥ 1.5 -- THEMES ¥
This post will contain information regarding the themes of members' writings.
1. Write a piece as an autobiography (Yrolg)
2. Write a piece set on Earth, in the timeframe of 1990-2015 (Poller5)
3. Write a piece that contains at least 70% dialogue (iC*uk)
Members of the Praxis Compositio Center will sometimes be required to write on a given theme for a week. Themes will be suggested by members or non-members and are chosen at the discretion of a majority vote of the Center's members.
Possible themes can cover writing formats, literary themes, utilization of literary tools, vernacular changes, etc. Suggestions are welcomed on a rolling basis.

The Center is willing to host up to five members at a time. If you are interested in joining, please post saying so and one of the founders will get in touch with you. Pending members will comprise those chosen to fill vacated spots. Members who do not meet the requirements will be transitioned to pending members.
