Race: Wielder Knight

Race Description: Wielder Knights are a race of magical warriors capable of manipulating and, effectively, being one with, a certain element, material or, possibly, even an item. Brand’s affinity is with fire. Like other wielder knights, he has both a human form and his ‘awakened’ knight form. A wielder knight in human form looks just like any other human, however some aspects cannot be disguised, for example their eyes are usually a giveaway.

In this form he is able to manipulate his element to a high degree, even being able to change properties magically, such as solidifying fire and creating weapons. Coming in contact with fire or heat does no harm and can even strengthen or heal him (A few enchanted varieties may exceed this rule), however prolonged contact with fire makes it difficult to stay in human form. Cold temperatures and water will make Brand very exhausted and tired, as well as damage him more than other elements.

In knight form, he is essentially one with his element, taking on the form of a set of armor made entirely of solid fire. In this form he is considerably more powerful, his raw magical power and manipulation skills are fully unleashed, however weaknesses are also increased. A lot. It is actually easier to stay in this form, but obviously not a great idea. Abilities can vary for different wielder knights, however most (including Brand) have the ability to change their shape at will, since they’re made of the very element they can manipulate.

Appearance: In human form, Brand looks fairly normal. He has charcoal black hair, cut short and kept tidy, light skin, a slightly angular face and generally looks unremarkable. Except for his irises, which are bright orange moving to a deep red edge. They also seem to glow sometimes. He is about average height, probably just below 6 ft, with a thin build, almost scrawny.

In his knight form, he takes the appearance of a rather imposing set of armour. He is a couple of inches taller and glows orange. He’s made of fire, after all. Flames constantly pour out of the gaps in his armour, concealing whatever he looks like underneath (if there is anything). He usually has a large great-sword, just over 4 ft long and about 1ft wide, the hilt looks like a phoenix with its wings outspread and ancient symbols run down the blade on both sides; it is the same solid fire as the armour. Of course this would be a completely impractical weapon if not for his control over the material. He often takes a phoenix or dragon form, too.

Clothing: Prefers plain clothes without text or brands, usually going with a pair of blue jeans, a plain t-shirt and a dark grey zip-up hoodie.

Short History: I have not thought of this yet but it won't be very remarkable anyway To be developed in thread. Ahem.

Other: Eh.

Name: Anais Mitchell.
Age: 22.
Gender: Female.
Race: Drago.

Race Description: Basically, Anais has what can be called the soul of a dragon. She lives for fire, to put simply. Can walk through it, can manipulate it, can create it* won** breathe it. Too cliché. Water is sort of her kryptonite, but not to the point that she melts or dies when she encounters it. She prefers not to swim – it will tire her out and cause her great fatigue – and she can be killed like any other person (except for by fire). Her skin is a little thicker than most, but a well-made bullet or knife can kill her.

Despite the love for fire, Anais is a quiet, snippy young woman. She’s quick to sarcasm and suspicious as all hell of new people. However, put her around fire and she’s in heaven. She*ll go crazy for it, and will gravitate toward it instantly without realizing it. Despite her quiet demeanor, Anais has a mean streak. Quite the one for the morbid side of things, she aims to kill if someone angers her enough and she won’t exactly be nice about it.

Appearance: Anais is a tall, slim woman at about 6’6” and about 120 pounds. Slender, slightly muscular arms and lengthy legs make up most of her height. Starting at the top of her head, Anais’ hair is a raven color, tinged with a dark burgundy when caught by the light. Her hair reaches to just about her waist, and is usually tied back in a low ponytail. Long bangs frame her face, but don’t hang in her eyes. Her eyes are another story – one that tells exactly what she is. The pupils are elongated but not thin, not pointed at the ends entirely but similar to a spear’s end. The color is usually the second thing that strikes those who take care to examine her face. Irises the color of dancing flames rest around her pupil, and have a strange illusion as if they actually are dancing flames.

Contrary to what others may say, her eyes do not glow. They merely look from a distance like normal eyes; the illusion is usually only seen up close or with well-trained eyes.
Anais could be described as pretty. Her eyebrows, usually raised or scowled in either interest or suspicion, are arched slightly. Thin, rose-colored lips are normally pulled into a one-sided smirk, barely pulling up the corners of her mouth. She’s lightly tanned, but still pale by any standard. “Long” and “slender” describe most of her appendages, as she has a lot of height and it all has to go somewhere. Her new body is covered in scars, mostly on her sides and on her upper arms.

Clothing: Anais normally wears tank tops and skinny jeans, and usually sticks to the basic color of black. She would pick sneakers over heels every single day of the year, and won’t consider flip flops in summer. She usually wears a golden, slightly tarnished moon-and-star ring on her right ring finger, and a star necklace. The star necklace itself is eight-pointed, with the arms forming a wave shape on each one. In each arm are three slim bands of aquamarine, which is also located at the center of the star in a small stone. The rest of the star is made of a silver-colored material.

Short History: Figuring this out in the course of the story… but she used to be a simple small town girl who moved to NYC to find a better job and possibly go to school. Then her whole world got flipped upside down and now she’s a mythical creature because someone decided to kill her. Overall, great life.

Other: Eyes look like Smaug’s, basically. Use that for reference if there is confusion, since I noticed the other person has “fiery” eyes too. Also, if you catch any TES illusions…. You’re my new best friend, and you just met my Dragonborn.

PS: I must love this story idea... third time's the charm. :)

Race: Echo

Race Description:
Echo’s are, in their base state, simply a parasitic spectral wisp bathed in radiant light. Incapable of conscious thought during this primal stage, it will attempt to mindlessly consume nearby life energies, dreams and experiences from its surroundings in order to become whole. When the Echo is sufficiently fed, it will attempt to derive a corporeal form by emulating the stronger and frequent memories of people. Should the corporeal form die, the wisp will consume the body and repeat this process.

Echo’s, in their corporeal form, can be seen as white mages – now that they are entirely self-sufficient, they can afford to spend their valuable life energies on healing or buffing abilities. In this state, they also wouldn’t necessarily need to consume anything as ominous as minds or souls – a salad and a cola would do!

Appearance:
If we were to compare Starlite to a white mage, she would definitely be of the squishy variety. Standing at 160cm, her petite and fair form can somewhat discrediting her stated age (It’s a b-cup! A B-CUP!). She possesses lively brown eyes under her swept fringe, her naturally bubble pink hair rolling halfway down her back.

Clothing:
Starlite normally wears a white collar flannel with a black vest, complete with a black tie. Wearing a red-checkered skirt, a green bag and black stockings and trainers, her apparel might lead one to think she were heading off to work at a coffee shop!

Short History:
Starlite remembers many pasts, none of them their own. Though they were almost certain they were a male before their… death(?), the amalgamated memories make it hard to make sense of even minute details like what their name was. Since being nameless was inconvenient, Starlite simply renamed themselves after the first words that came to mind – star and… did I just tread in lite milk?!
