Hey, I saw this hasn't gotten much recent attention, so I stopped by to offer some feedback.
I loved this story! I think the ending really gave a good (albeit brief) glimpse into the minds of the characters, and showed a bit of their motives for doing what they do. I like the dialect you've given to these guys, as it shows they're not the perfect, high class, knight-in-shining-armor types. It was a nice change of pace. While I'm thinking about these two characters, I'd also like to say that I appreciate the friendly banter between the two of them, as (I believe) it made them more human. All in all, you've written another Stories Forum gem. Good work!
