edit: was awesome, look forward for a next chapter
Thank you Pupppy!
I was intrigued during the "Joy of Zaros" podcast about how Azzanadra was not a military leader during the Zarosian empire's height of power. I thought it was so tragic that he had to bear a responsibility that no one else wanted in the aftermath of Zamorak's betrayal, so I decided to put my own spin on it.
I enjoyed this, great start to a story. However there is one detail that didn't really sit right with me- Azzanadra's age. Granted it's your story and this is how you've chosen to characterize him and it's well done. I'm just curious as to whether you made him that young even with most of what we know implying that he's likely one of the older Mahjarrat on purpose.

Great question, Shady!
Well, my reasoning was pretty straightforward: based on the "Joy of Zaros" podcast, Azzanadra was not a person of power/military leader before Zamorak's rebellion. Only after most of the generals died/turned their cloaks did the power vacuum require that he step up. It was one of those "some are born great, some have greatness thrust upon them" things.
We all know how powerful Azzanadra is, so my explanation for why he was not as well-regarded as Zamorak was simply because he was too young at the time to be noticed. He was only just making his way in the empire. Also, we have to remember that by the 6th Age Azzanadra is thousands of years old, and the God Wars are going to rage for approximately 4,000 years. He has plenty of growing up to do, and I think that it's more interesting to work with a character who grows up in front of your eyes
into
a war-leader. In later chapters you'll see him take command and people will assume he's this ancient Mahjarrat. He's going to butt heads with Nex a lot.
Finally, while we have information that Sliske and Jhallan, etc. were active
before
the God Wars (Jhallan was a big hero until then, when he threw in the towel), Azzanadra's fame comes from his acts during the Zarosian Extermination, as a hero of the 3rd Age. While I acknowledge that he lived for at least a century in the 2nd age (his age in the story) I think it was the smallest fraction of his lifespan.
Thank you so much for caring enough to think about this! If you have more questions please ask!

Nice story, but quick suggestion:
Only use 1 thread for all of your chapters instead of supporting say 5 or 6.
You will only have ot worry about maintaining/bumping 1 thread.
While it might be nice to see a little added life to this forum with new threads coming in ... all of your stories are really a continuation of the same one.
