Here it is. My first RP, and the stories I wrote to set up the story all culminate towards it, and they are:

I will go into brief summaries of what happened in those stories later, but here is an introduction of the RP, some time after the events of these stories occurred...

A massive war between all the gods and factions now engulfs RuneScape. The oceans bubble and turn red, and the bubbles belch out searing steam. The earth cracks and turns black. The air is thickening with smoke and ash, as fire rains down and rises up. And all around are the sounds of incredible clashes between all the races known to RuneScape, as well as creatures never seen before. In addition to all the weapons, armour and magic known to Gielinor, more undiscovered powers and gods arrive to duke it out on the Cursed Archipelago.

The Underwater City has risen from the ocean, bringing with it heaps of black stones and a dread hymn of death as the influence of Xau-Tak covers this world. The Queen of Ashes has already started recruiting many beings who have been downtrodden in the past, to raze the planet with flames of a plethora of colours, some of which sear the surface of the sea, in pursuit of creating a new heaven. And other gods have arrived with their own agendas, some of which the player may wish to add as part of their own characters' bios.

In this roleplay you get to be whatever you want to be, whether it's a human, Icyene, aviansie, demon, or any other creature in RuneScape. You can even make up a creature or become a hybrid of some kind, as long as it isn't godmodding. You start off with relatively average power, but quickly grow stronger through many trials, and soon you will be caught up in the war that rages across RuneScape. You may even wish to include the World Guardian, who would appear before you using the Enchanted Key! Prepare for hell on RuneScape in Naval Cataclysm!

The crater over which Saradomin and Zamorak fought at Lumbridge has been leaking new energy, and the dead both fighters and innocents have risen. This has led to necromancers taking advantage of the situation to add to their arsenals, and Duke Horacio is exhausting his resources trying to hold them back. Father Urhney left the refuge of his shack to pray in order to erect barriers to hold back the undead hordes attacking the few remaining civilians.

Varrock is heavily under attack from all sides, and those of its remaining citizens have been evacuated to Edgeville, which has expanded to the west, and they have built a tunnel between it and Falador. Vanescula Drakan has breached the River Salve to the east with the vampyres, and is now one of the forces fighting in Varrock. Other forces fighting here include Zemouregal who took some of the dead from the Battle of Lumbridge to add to his armies, a platoon of risen creatures baptised by the Queen of Ashes' flames, and several other armies from all over.

Falador is still smouldering after the Great Flame ravaged it, with people from Edgeville still rescuing citizens from the ruins, and Yanille has been levelled after the Dawnstriker, the Armadyleans' greatest weapon, was fired. The Temple of Lost Ancients is being abandoned by the generals of the God Wars Dungeon, and they too are getting involved in this new war of the gods.

Gu'Tanoth, the city of ogres, has been affected by the curse of Xau-Tak. The Fremennik Isles are being invaded by the Dagannoth who have declared war in the name of Xau-Tak. The Wilderness and many other places have been burned by the Ash Goblin, the very first being the Queen of Ashes recruited on Gielinor, and many of their inhabitants have been turned to following her by the multicoloured blaze. After Nex had escaped the Temple of Lost Ancients, she and her army laid waste to everything in their way and rejoined the other Zarosians who went out to sea. Trollheim has now been covered in ice, and many trolls and humans in Taverley and Burthorpe have been killed. In spite of this it still remains one of the more peaceful areas, but the ocean beckons danger from the south...

Port Sarim, Catherby and Witchaven have been overrun by sea slugs, and the people have been possessed by a new Slug Queen. Fishing is now strictly prohibited, and the White Knights are keeping themselves busy trying to rebuild Falador while stopping anyone else becoming possessed by the slugs. The fate of Kennith is unknown, but rumours have it that he is at the Archipelago as well, aiding in battle against Xau-Tak.

Ardougne has become a huge battleground, where the Chaos Paladins now have the strongest hold. Brendith, one of the twin brothers who was taken in from the Kinshra to the Chaos Paladins, holds the castle in the east and a battle still rages on between them and the Saradominist armies. The other brother, Denzith, holds the west side of town in spite of nursing an injury from battle with Ogledge, an ogre shaman who has rapidly grown in power. He is also having trouble from elves from Tirannwn infiltrating from the Underground Pass, which they have secured. Thousands of goblins from all over have joined the fray, as have ogres from Gu'Tanoth, and a handful of trolls who had fled their mountain home after Nex escaped the Ancient Prison.

The gnomes are having trouble in these times as well. All of the spirit trees have died due to a mass shake-up in the Anima Mundi, cutting off protection and the mode of transport they offered. But worse is an invasion from Arposandra, where Glouphrie is declaring war on the gnomes and elves! His illusions and manipulation of anima make him one of the more dangerous foes here. The Wilderness, once the place where the Chaos Paladins trained and initiated, as well as making their riches through slaughtering hapless adventurers, is now razed by flames of a plethora of colours. Legend has it that some of these adventurers, as well as creatures who were previously aligned to Zamorak in these parts, have risen from the ashes to fight in the name of the Queen of Ashes. In turn, they have burned even some of the Paladins and turned them to their cause through the fire. The Zamorakians had no choice but to flee the Wilderness for Ardougne, and their new refuge is Ardougne where they continue to fight and trade.

The Rift has opened up beyond Daemonheim, and all the monsters inside are spilling out into the world along with the horrors that lay at Floor 61. Even Zamorak himself couldn't stay in this place, instead moving out to the Archipelago to fight the gods who have assembled themselves there.

The Eastern Lands are where the black rocks and multicoloured flames are starting to coat the place. The moai heads on each of the islands are screaming in agony, new islands are appearing made purely out of different elements, huge monsters are rising from the sea or lowering from the sky, and the bubbling of the ocean grows ever more fierce the further east you go.

Later on in the roleplay, we will reach our final destination, the Cursed Archipelago itself. Xau-Tak, Rabid Jack, all the leaders and strongest armies of every single faction are here, battling it out for the fate of this planet. This place is practically hell on RuneScape, complete with raging crimson waves. Even the sea spray itself singes the skin, and it is here where the thick of the war is. You will have to make the most out of every single ability you have to make it here. Even the gods themselves are actually fighting for real here, no staring contests or anything like that. Prepare yourself for a wild ride. Prepare for hell on RuneScape in Naval Cataclysm!

Now on to some summaries of the stories I have told leading up to the RP.

The Ash Goblin: A goblin is discontent with how his race have been trodden into the dirt not only by Bandos, but by everyone including humans. But then he receives a vision from the Queen of Ashes, coaxing him in an attempt to turn Gielinor into the next Muspell, which is a planet made entirely of different coloured flames. It is in this story when events leading to the war start, and when Falador is engulfed by the Great Flame.

The Chaos Paladins: After the Ash Goblin and a group of other beings converted by the Queen of Ashes have razed Falador and killed many White and Black Knights, Zamorak turns to his greatest fighting force, the Chaos Paladins. They are the chaos god's equivalent of the Temple Knights of Saradomin, constantly training and practising applying chaos methodically. Their leader is Furora, who is among the strongest human women alive. She is clad in heavy black armour decorated with red and gold, except for her head which possesses bright green eyes and auburn hair.

Not only is her strength monstrous, but so is her will. She is able to give off an aura that commands total respect from all including her enemies, something that earned her rank after standing up to Lord Sulla when she was 15. Furora believes that the growth that chaos brings is a bounty that can be shared by all, and in this belief she has set a code of honour. The Chaos Paladins strive to apply anarchy in any way possible to ensure growth for the strong, and will not kill children.

Saradomin had just about put out the Queen's flames which nearly burned Asgarnia. After these events and the burning of the Wilderness, he has sent the Temple Knights to the Cursed Archipelago. Sir Vey Lance who leads the Temple Knights has the same aura as her, and their history has paved the way to a great rivalry. The story ended with a battle on the Archipelago, which still continues. Stories (cont.)

Panic Haunting: Port Phasmatys has been shaken up due to the Spectral Influx, where Necrovarus had been stealing souls from the Underworld to relocate into the port and the Ectofuntus, whose power was beginning to wane. This waning of power caused the barriers around Phasmatys to weaken, so the ghosts started to panic when the vampyres started approaching. Many of the spirits waited for living adventurers to visit their haunts, then possessed their live hosts in order to escape. Some of the ghosts went aboard ships, while others fell victim either to Sliske, Xau-Tak, Amascut, or the vampyres.

One such ghost possessed a trader from the Eastern Lands known as Kinishi, whose family had been separated. Together, they went on a journey with Bill Teach and his crew of pirates to the Eastern Lands where they managed to reunite Kinishi with his family. Along the way, they encountered some of the preludes to the great war coming, including the rise of Golwe, an attack from the Serenist group who are currently fighting in the Archipelago to fend off the shadows there, and a Zarosian cryomancer who froze a tsunami.

But even with this deed done, the ghost refuses to go to the afterlife, until he goes on one final journey with another soul of the living. Teach has a powerful and experienced crew who have been through some very rough times, and their strongest fighter is Oskar, a werewolf turned vampyre who adheres to a certain Zamorakian code of honour similar to that of the Chaos Paladins.

In this roleplay, you may have the option to encounter the ghost and allow him to share the body with your soul. He doesn't totally possess you; it's more of a 'temporary accommodation' where he gets to experience another adventure with Teach, and you will find him quite friendly and agreeable. Sea of Crystal: An elven woman by the name of Carwen had left the safety of Prifddinas and went to sea with a group of other elves, to save her husband and children from the curse of Xau-Tak. The elves consist of Iorwerth warriors who mastered melee, Cadarn rangers and mages, Trahaearn who designed and manned their cannons and ship, the Grisial Purdeb, and Ithell who are able to change the abilities of the ship, cannons and armoury with their voices. It was not long before they sailed straight into the thick of one of the earliest battles on the Archipelago, and it got to the point where she resorted to use the Taranau, one of the most dangerous weapons to have ever existed.

The Taranau, derived from the Welsh word for thunder, is a tiny crystal seed she had implanted into the exoskeleton armour she was wearing, and has granted her incredible power which had once badly wounded the leader of the Zarosian forces, Audasius. But this power comes at a price; other elves have died using it out of desperation. And it was also at that point that the Underwater City rose from the ocean, and she is still fighting against the army of Xau-Tak to this day.

What will happen to Carwen's family? Will she survive to control the awesome power of the Taranau, which has killed elves who had used it in ages past? Can it defeat Xau-Tak? I dare not say until the end of the RP, and Carwen will not be alone in this fight. And little do they realise that they have been stalked by other elves, who hail from the Cywir clan who were abandoned on their homeworld, Tarddiad. These elves have absolute control over their crystals and can shapeshift, but they have become addicted to the crystals and must consume more in order to survive. Will they attack the Grisial Purdeb on the Archipelago? Wait and see what happens. Prepare for hell on RuneScape in Naval Cataclysm!

Feathers on Fire: This story is split into two parts. The first part of the story is a diary written by Ogledge, an ogre from Gu'Tanoth who was training to become the best shaman. He has grown considerably not only in magical power, but also skill, technique, tactical ploys and intelligence. His master taught him many magic skills including summoning, and events happening around Gu'Tanoth taught him many things that would be of value to the Bandosians as a whole. Ogledge is even able to play checkers and chess to a high degree, capable of beating even Zarador who is known for his intelligence.

After his master was affected by a sea slug and the curse of Xau-Tak affected the ogre city, Ogledge left to head north when he found Yanille under attack from the Ash Goblin. Eager to prove himself as a warrior, he went to join the fray. But he failed due to the Ash Goblin and other creatures of the Queen of Ashes being comprised of her divine flame. And to make matters worse, the Chaos Paladins came in and attacked. He challenged Furora, whose aura affected him promptly. She almost killed him...

Then he found himself on Yu'biusk, and after passing a test was charged with aiding Zarador in finding certain mechanical parts to their ultimate war machine, the Skullrazer. Taking platoons of goblins, ogres and trolls with him and using tactical skill to his advantage, Ogledge succeeded in taking one part from the Chaos Paladins, and is now out to sea with most of the Bandosian army to find the other part, and leave the mark of the Big High War God upon RuneScape forever. Feathers on Fire (cont.): The second part of the story comes in the form of letters written to Armadyl by the leaders of a flock of aviansie who went with him to Gielinor. Flight Kresta, Wingman Ta'Kaada, and Flockleader Grestin led this group and were responsible for keeping the Armadylean community alive. But the events leading up to this RP threatened to tear the community apart.

Flight Kresta explored the Fremennik Province to study into V, whose followers are inspired to become heroes later in this thread. These same followers have been fighting the hordes of Dagannoth which have invaded Relekka and the Fremennik Isles. She reached the Lunar Isle and wrote back to Armadyl what she had discovered, that V was the founder of the Moon Clan and had discovered the skill which would later be known as runecrafting. But a tsunami washed over her before she could look into any more, and she ended up captured by Golwe. She remains captive, and is rapidly losing hope...

Wingman Ta'Kaada brought back the black stones to the flock, unknowingly affecting them all with the death hymn of Xau-Tak. The aviansie had grown increasingly restless and fearful as a result, with some even going insane and attacking their own. After a series of mishaps Ta'Kaada was washed up in a small cave high above the sea, where he is starving, parched, and in despair over what happened to the Armadyleans.

Flockleader Grestin is the only leader left now. She sent scouts to investigate the Feldip Hills and learned about Ogledge. She had also witnessed the battle at Yanille and attempted to defend the humans there, when a Temple Knight known as Sir Cumference sneaked up and used the Dawnstriker, the flock's strongest weapon, to level the town. Grestin later discovered that Cumference held a mechanical piece of a machine which empowered it. The Knight escaped custody and is now on the run, and Grestin is preparing to restore the weapon, save the flock and stop the war. Prepare for hell on RuneScape in Naval Cataclysm!

Now on to the other factions present that I have included.

A group of powerful Zarosians gathered in various ports to discover what happened to their boat, the Glory of Zaros, which disappeared back in the days when the Empty Lord ruled. Among their ranks are extremely powerful demons, vampyres, a handful of dragon riders and some very strong humans including a cryomancer who used his ice powers to freeze a tsunami conjured up by a powerful and dangerous seasinger named Golwe.

Other mages have mastered the ancient elements of the Empty Lord; smoke, shadow, blood and ice. The Zarosian faction has the smallest number of soldiers, but they are the strongest individual fighters, each one capable of rending large posses of enemies by themselves. Their leader, Audasius, is an incredibly powerful and intelligent demon who has mastered control over lightning, and whose power is surpassed only by Carwen, and of course the gods themselves.

Nex has joined forces with them, and the other God Wars Dungeon generals have arrived to fight in the Eastern Lands to the north of the Cursed Archipelago. Even these bosses are not strong enough to survive in that place. But the bosses of The Heart are there, save for Telos, fighting now for their factions. Azzanadra is at The Heart at the moment, keeping Telos at bay while looking for a way into the Elder Halls. Wahisietel has been defending the town of Nardah in the desert from Sliske and Amascut, while Akthanakos is battling with Enakhra on the Eastern Lands.

The dragons vary from rider to rider, and one of them rides a Wyrm, a beast of such power that normal dragons pale in comparison! They also mount wyverns, frost dragons, lava dragons, and various other awesome beasts. Another has managed to tame an Arhat from the spirit realm of Aminishi on the Eastern Lands.
