Golwe (derived from the Afrikaans word for 'waves') is the most powerful seasinger alive today with absolute control over water, and after betraying her master, the cruel khan Aku-Jakobi, she seeks to become the goddess of the ocean. She has found the Elder Horn and is now on the hunt for Zu Zu and more Elder Artefacts, and has officially taken up the mantle previously held by Quin before her death. And much of the Eastern Lands have been swamped by her tsunamis, or ravaged by the Queen of Ashes.

She has also been keeping many creatures hostage, including aviansie and other things, for experimenting on and using rituals. Her home is on the edge of the Eastern Lands, and very soon she will join the fight on the Cursed Archipelago to swathe the boiling seas with colossal waves.

The Queen of Ashes has shown many creatures who had been downtrodden in the past visions of Muspell, a planet made entirely of multicoloured flames. Muspell contains meadows of green and various other coloured small flames somewhat like flowers, mountains and canyons of brown and purple with white fires on top, and a vast blue inferno with pink sparks leaping out of the surface. The place is like a truly beautiful and perfect place carved by nature, yet everything is made up of flames.

Once they see the beauty of Muspell, creatures allow themselves to be consumed by her fire, and gain renewed power to not only gain revenge on those who trod on and laughed at them, as was the case with the Ash Goblin, but also to create another Muspell, a new heaven where they would never have to be downtrodden and made to feel weak again.

She has a vast array of beings following her, including other goblins, werewolves, dwarves, humans, and many other beings who have suffered underfoot. Their new power allows them to gain control over and turn into ashes, and throw her flames. These flames are very difficult even for the gods to put out.

And Sliske has vastly increased his undead arsenal as the war approached, taking soldiers from other factions and making deals with people in exchange for their souls. Even Nomad and the countless souls absorbed into him have been turned over to Sliske. He, as ever, has his own agenda of which only the World Guardian is aware. And soon they may come and tell your character of what he is planning...if you choose to allow them in the RP (that is your actual character in game).

Even Icthlarin is running himself ragged trying to shepherd as many souls as he can to their afterlives, and Amascut is having a feast in these times. Icthlarin's forces are fighting to save the souls of the deceased and stop anyone taking them for themselves such as Sliske and Xau-Tak, and Amascut has sent all manner of foul beasts to rend such souls and prepare a banquet in her glory.

The monkeys on Ape Atoll have also become victims to this dark era, and Marimbo has set her glass aside to protect them no matter what. The zombie monkeys are attacking the living ones after being taken by Xau-Tak's curse, and Marimbo is pulling out all the stops to save them. As such, the city is now more heavily guarded than usual, and even the monkeys themselves are being searched for black stones or sea slugs, or being checked for signs of the curse.

As for Xau-Tak, I don't know its true nature, but it is shown to have necrotic abilities and rends souls, as well as being associated with corpse oceans. But here in this RP I have made a few theories which I will go into now.

It isn't like any other god. It doesn't have any traits of an animal, like most gods such as Saradomin or Zamorak, nor of plants like Brassica Prime. Xau-Tak is in fact an ascended pathogen, starting off in a form far weaker than a mortal which can be killed easily if cut off early. But in this case, the disease has long spread, and now its power is tier 3, equal to Saradomin. And its main enemy is the World Guardian.

And here is the bio format!

Name of character:

Gender:

Race (includes hybrids):

Appearance:

Alignment:

Goals:

Weapons if used:

Armour if used:

Magic if applicable:

Other abilities:

Psychology:

History:

Other notes:

Note that the World Guardian is actually your player character in RuneScape proper, so their name and behaviour will naturally be the same as your own, should you wish to include them. I will add my own character in due course after editing this post.

Name of character: Trusk

Gender: Male

Race: Goblin

Appearance: Quite normal for a goblin aside from a broken nose and a claw mark over one of his eyes. Trusk has also lost a leg in one of the many battles, which he had replaced with a very crude prosthetic carved out of willow near Taverley. But the tree it came from happened to be close to the sea; could something have been infused within it?

Alignment: Zamorakian

Goals: To wage war and spread chaos in Zamorak's name.

Weapons if used: A simple sword crafted from scraps on battlefields.

Armour if used: A shield taken from a White Knight recruit and with the symbol of Zamorak daubed in blood over the star of Saradomin.

Magic if applicable:

Other abilities:

Psychology: He lives for the glory of battle, but recent events caused him to believe that he is performing acts of kindness by inducing chaos to the world. As such, he now has a tendency to show mercy to opponents that he views as strong, in the hopes that they can grow too. He has a stout personality and can be rather inquisitive.

History: After the death of Bandos, Trusk had begun searching for meaning behind the consistent fighting. Then a chaos druid found him and made him his wooden leg, then told him about chaos and how it promotes growth. Since then, Trusk has been reliving the glory of battle but for quite different reasons to the Bandosians...

After pillaging a recently used tent, Trusk held a stick to the campfire and set light to the cloth. Then he walked away, wooden leg clumping in the dry black earth and fist in the air and shouting, "For glory of Zamorak!" He was happy to see this; battles clashing over roaring earth and blistering ash flitting down from the sky almost like snow. Blood was covering the earth around Seers' Village like roses, and the flames licking the buildings were like flowers of their own. And the cries of battle and panic sung to his soul like a bolero.

Another goblin rushed at him with a spear, screaming in the name of Bandos. Trusk looked over at his opponent, saying, "You come to face me too! Me so happy that this world get fun, and all who live get really strong! Come, prove you is strong!" He raised his shield and smashed it straight into the incoming spear, before stamping on his opponent's foot with his wooden leg. Then he pointed his blade to the ground and sliced the goblin up his torso, and plunged it into his gut. "You strong at heart. Me hopes you gets plenty of glory at other side." And the blade slashed the goblin's throat.

Trusk has grown quite a bit over time, but he was still just a lowly goblin with a wooden leg. Still, he had heart and recognised those who had it too, and was eager to prove himself to Zamorak, just as he used to desire proving himself to Bandos in the past. He still enjoyed spilling blood, but now he had more reasons than the mere glory of victory. He saw the world as a plant that needed tending to. The canker of the weak had to be cut away, and the strong should be allowed to blossom.

The clumps of mud made by the wooden leg were replaced by loud clacks against wooden surfaces as Trusk took to searching the houses of the village...

Upstairs, Trusk heard a voice shrieking in terror and despair. "The sins! They're everywhere!"

He prodded a fallen hat stand that had bits missing from it with his wooden leg. "That make good wood if me breaks this leg," he muttered to himself as he snapped off some bits just in case. Then he looked around the rest of the living room; a table propped up against the wall between two bookcases, a druid crucified on it. There weren't any chairs, the books had all been piled up outside and burned, and bits of wood littered the floor. Then he went up the ladder, ignoring the empty drawers which hung open.

All the windows had been smashed. Oddly enough the pictures had remained untouched, including a portrait of the late King Lathas and a picture of a pristine landscape which couldn't be any more different than the smoking firestorm that is here now. Trusk remembered a time when RuneScape was like that, and wondered when it all changed. He was just about to walk up to the spinning wheel and put a hand to it when an arrow zipped through an open door and thudded against a set of drawers underneath the King Lathas portrait.

Across another room with a bench and another picture, the Sin Seer loaded her bow and aimed at Trusk, then lowered her weapon when she saw the Zamorak symbol on his shield. "I am sorry to have attacked, fellow worshipper of the God of Chaos. The darkness blinded me, and I have seen many sins including your own." Trusk replied, "There no such thing as sins, lady. Long as we gets stronger and make chaos happen, we ain't doin' nothin' wrong." He walked around the bedroom from where the Seer had come from and pointed at another picture of King Lathas. "Me knows him. He rule human city to south of here, worship Zamorak. He dead now though, heard he get beat by someone they calls World Guardian."

The Sin Seer looked to the mirror with a puzzled expression. "The World Guardian had left this place a long time ago, and since then rifts had appeared in the dimensional fabric here." Trusk didn't understand the exact words, but had a guess at what it meant. "That why monsters start showin' up and sea turn red? Me sees fire fallin' down like rain and black rockses goin' up now." He looked at the picture of the pristine landscape of the past. "It been long time since me see that." The Sin Seer continued to ponder at the reflection, when a cry from the distance rang out, "For Saradomin!" King Arthur and his knights attacked again.

She took her bow out and fired out of the window, screaming, "The flames of chaos will burn away the sins of this world!" Trusk jumped out and into the trees, and began chopping down branches to fall on top of the knights as he came. But they spotted him in the trees and fired arrows up at him. Trusk hung on to his branch and tried to swing through them, but his wooden leg was somewhat impeding. Arthur thundered, "Flush him out of there! I will deal with the witch myself!" before charging to the house. The goblin managed to dig his leg into a branch while shielding himself from the arrows, when a fireball roared down from the sky and engulfed the tree.

He was stuck, trapped between flames eating the wood on one side and a volley of arrows at the other. The goblin raised his blade and began cutting desperately at the branch his leg was stuck in, shield still raised against the storm of arrows. Thuds against wood, fireballs raining down, black stones rising up with the rumble of the earth, and the cries of people and all creatures great and small at war, all crashed against Trusk's ears like a tsunami of noise as he carved slowly at the branch.

Name of character: Lord Pyro

Gender: Male

Race (includes hybrids): Mahjarrat

Appearance: Known for taking the appearance of a human most of time, Lord Pyro's chosen form includes blonde hair, a confident and handsome face and stands at around 7ft tall presenting an imposing presence in any room. Through his skill at shapeshifting he can often be seen with a set of large wings similar to those Zamorak had.

Alignment: Zamorakian

Goals: To be Zamorak's ultimate servant, his most powerful weapon.

Weapons if used: A shining sword wreathed in flames of unclear origin

Armour if used: Zamorakian rune

Magic if applicable: A mastery over fire and chaos magics as well as a strong knowledge of enchantments, used both to ward and protect his bases and to created animated suits of armour to serve in place of the undead Zemourgal or Sliske might use.

Other abilities: Strong hand to hand combat skills, has used deception to spread (false) rumours of invulnerability to mortal weapons

Psychology: A highly contrasting character, both a compassionate father and a ruthless killer. Lord Pyro has shown traits that commend him as a sophisticated and wise leader at times and at others an almost limitless capacity for wanton destruction and chaos. Though never a giggling clown like Sliske his personality remains highly chaotic.

History: A burning trail of death through Freneskae, the 2nd and 3rd ages and into the 4th. After The end of the God Wars Lord Pyro established himself as a key figure within the zamorakian hierarchy until he fell victim to a particular clever plot by Lucian as he began his ascent into prominence. The plot left Pyro as M.I.A. and all records and knowledge of him was destroyed for fear of his return. As the plot had caused Pyro to miss the ritual he could not get retribution against Lucian until he found some means of empowering himself other than the rituals.

Although Lucian was slain without his help Lord Pyro was inspired when he saw Nomad gain power by absorbing souls. After much study Lord Pyro became able to absorb chaos, gaining power from chaotic situations. With this ability he swiftly began to rise again and would want to deal with those who had abandoned him.

Taverley Dungeon

Lord Pyro had his fair share of chaos throughout his life, and learned to harness its power after a great deal of study. And in these times he would only grow stronger; the dungeon where the Kinshra made their headquarters, as well as being home to dragons, demons and Zamorakian clerics was already a great place to start. Stalagmites of pure obsidian sprouted from the magma streams, and Pyro could hear the roars and clashes of battle overhead, and feel the thuds of hundreds of metal boots marching into war. The thuds multiplied as rested Kinshra knights trickled out to the surface of the ground, bashing weapons against shields while bellowing, "Strength through chaos!"

As the knights marched, some found themselves harried by the hill giants, scorpions, lava spat from its pits, floating pickaxes, skeletons and animated suits of armour. The Mahjarrat watched as a few were crushed, burned, hacked down or succumbed to poison. The weak would be weeded out and allow the strong to blossom, as is the way of Zamorak.

Pyro
Over the recent times after Lucien's death, you have sensed many great changes in the world and several Mahjarrat have gained a far larger than normal jump in power. This came after the 19th Ritual which occurred on Freneskae very recently, and you can sense that with your current power you might not be able to stand against those who were present in this ritual.

As you are able to absorb chaos, you have many opportunities to grow powerful enough to make a stand against those who abandoned you. There is a battle going on right near you as the Kinshra fight against the Death Guard and trolls which are spilling out south into Taverley. Also, the runecrafting altars including the Chaos Altar are leaking energy which you could also use. For now, do you stay with the Kinshra, look for the altars, head straight for those who abandoned you or do something else?
