Cyrus Denaplus is not an ordinary boy. His father hates him, he has no friends, and he's been trained by Elves, taught in a sorcery most boys like him don't possess. But a greater power rests within him, and he doesn't know about it. Unfortunately, Tira does, and will stop at nothing to take it from Cyrus.
Cyrus is faced with odd enemies and friendships, epic battles he shouldn't be fighting and assassins after him. Only one person may know how to destroy Tira, and it lives out in the sea.
Will Cyrus Denaplus escape the wrath of Tira? Or will she eat his heart, collecting everything inside of Cyrus and giving her the power to turn the Elven Lands, as well as the whole world, into a black abbyss. Elves cannot die. If she succeeds, her reign will be for eternity.
