"Val was very quite exited to work with Guxik, but the same could not be said the other way. Guxik worked alone for the most part, but at the same time he knew Val was young and naive and he might have someone who believed him about the voices. The trip was long and hard, from south of Drynor to Port Sarim, up and through Falador, Over White Wolf Mountain, for days they walked, only stopping for a small rest here and there. Val noticed Guxik would take out a vial of light brown potion and sing spells into it, knowing that Guxik was a man of many mysterious traits he thought better of asking. It wasn't too long before they came to the edge of the so called sick city of west Ardounge. There an elf met them and took them the rest of the way. To the city where we are right now. They were shown there rooms, they were to stay with the Cadarn and their Magi. It wasn't long before both Guxik and Val came to the conclusion that they really had no idea what they were doing. They knew nothing of the Eleven crystal or of the magic behind snow. As days past and the snow came closer and closer the Elves knew they didn't have much time and the wizards were getting nowhere they needed someone very wise who knew of the old spells of snow. Ah yes it was the wise old man from Drynor, knowing of his ways and how he liked to get in trouble It took the elves a few days to finally call for him. It was only 4 days later that by the help of magic he made it to this here city. He met with the leaders of the elven clans. And made a deal he would help the city under two conditions, they would let him take one thing of his choice form the city with some limitations, and that he could also modify something in the city with magic. The elves seeing no other way to fix there snow problem agreed. So he set to work reading old books on forgotten magics and old tricks. Being wise he made a spell that should have kept the snow away but being old he put it in the wrong order."
