anywaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay dawn you might be very very wrong...the fact that online iq tests are not veriable (in fact theire quite wrong) should make you think about using that
besides there are different kinds of intelligence...
-Mathematical
-Literate
-Social
-Creative
-etc
and it is in fact true that online iq tests go from the average of 100...but in a true iq test the average is 80, and 100 is basically intelligent, 60 and below being handicapped (this is also the kind of test that showed einsteins iq to be around 160)
i took one of these tests 7 years ago...and i got a 138 (this was in Germany BTW), but that doesnt make me uber intelligent (oh wait it does, but read on)
this only applies to 3 intelligences (ones i am extremely good at) mostly mathematical, memory, and 3-dimensional (which gives me an uncanny knack for booksmarts, physics, and math)
however my literate status is slightly above average, my social is average, my creative is downright horrible
i actually managed to fail art class...dont ask me how, but i managed to...mainly because i couldnt think of anything whatsoever to paint/sculpt/draw/craft/whatever
im creative in solutions, just not abstract...i dont really know how, but thats just the way it is
tl;dr
there are many different intelligences, so if youre smarter in something then someone else good for you and get over it >_>
now for some statistics:
- an iq of 120 and above is about 1% of the population
- an iq of 130 and above is about 0.1% of the population
- an iq of 140 and above is about 0.001% of the population
- an iq of 150 and above is about 0.000001% of the population
- an iq of 60 and below is about 5% of the population (this shows for every smart person, there are in fact 5 incredibly stupid people)
- 10 million people actually understand Einstein's theory of relatively
- only 10 people actually understand how he came to this
