Chapter 1: The New Page
During the midnight in Misthalin's capital, Varrock. It was storming like crazy. Flashes of lighting lit the endless darkness of the night. Thunder crashed all around the area. Within the walls of the Varrock royal kingdom - within a room was a young man. His blue eyes gazed blankly at the ceiling of his room as he laid upon his bed.
"It's been about 18 years since the end of the Fifth Age..since this war started." he said in his head. "I wonder if anyone can stop it." Suddenly, the young man heard to knocking sounds coming from his door. This took his attention. He grabbed his glasses from the end table next to his bed and puts them on. "Come in!" he shouted.
The door cracked open. Revealing a older man, in about his late 40's. The man had a serious mug on his face. "Marcello." he said with a raised voice.
Marcello stroke his left hand behind his head, "Lieutenant Campbell?" he said.
"You have serious business to attend to."
"Like what?"
"His Lordship, Emperor Salomon Nike has summoned you."

Marcello hopped off his bed. "Why didn't you just say so?" He grabbed his trench coat and Black Cavalier. He puts both on.
"Respect his lordship. And for Saradomin's sake, act serious for a change."
"Geez, you're acting like it's the first time I'm meeting Sal-"
"LORD Salomon, you disrespectful little imbecile."
"Whatever, whatever." After that, Marcello passes Campbell and heads to Salomon's throne room. He heads down the stairs and to the first floor. In a minute, he arrives in the throne room. There, Salomon was sitting upon his royal throne - wearing a robe with a Saradomin Stole around with neck.
Salomon looks over at Marcello and smiled upon his arrival. Marcello fell to his knees to respect Salomon. "My lord." he greeted.
"Ah. Marcello. Glad to see you're here."
"Lieutenant Campbell informed me that you summoned me." Marcello rose his head. "What is it that you wish?"
"Rumors have been coming from Jim at Il Pagato that the Crimson Reaper has made an appearance around the area." Salomon places his hands on his lap. "I wish for you, Sarah Wolfsbane, and our new Assassin Hunter, Janak Juleonlos to go."
"Have the other two already been informed?"
"Indeed."
"Very well, my lord." Marcello stood to his feet.
"Your mission begins tomorrow. But in the meantime, do get some rest."
"As you wish."
"Good luck. And may Saradomin smile upon you, boy."
Marcello left the throne room after Salomon's final word. He exited the castle and headed into the city. There, he hears whispers of people talking about money and how they could get anything they want. Marcello drew closer to the poorer side of the city, where he walked towards a particular house. He stood before the house's door and knocked twice.
The young woman inside heard the knock and walked over to the door. She opened it and revealed that her visitor was Marcello. She smiled upon his arrival. "Marcello." she said. "Come in." Marcello entered the room and the young woman closed the door behind him. Marcello walked into the living room. And on a chair, sat a snow white haired young man.
The young man looked at Marcello and smirked. He stood to his feet and extended his left hand out to Marcello. "You must be Marcello Saif-Al-Din. Honor to meet you." he said. Marcello smiled at the young man. He grabbed his left hand with his left. They shook hands. "You must be Janak Juleonlos. It is a pleasure to meet you." After that, the two sat down. Marcello sat down on a chair, put his hands behind his head, kicked his feet up, and closed his eyes.
Janak looked at Marcello. Knowing he knew most about the question he was about to ask. "Hey Marcello..." Janak mumbled.. "What is Il Pagato like anyways?"
Marcello opened one of his eyes. "You have no idea and you're going there on a mission that could end your life?" Marcello replied.
Janak rubbed the back on his head. "Yeah..kinda dumb, right?"
Marcello closed his opened eye and giggled. "No, no, not at all. You just started as an Assassin Hunter. So of course you know nothing of Il Pagato."
"But I know that Il Pagato was once known as Lumbridge before it was taken over."
"That's a good start. But you must know that it's the capital of the Assassins in the Misthalin country."
"I know. And I'm going to do everything in my power to make it Lumbridge again."
Marcello opened one eye and looked out a window near him. There, on the top of the roof was the shadow figure of a person with a scythe. Marcello stared at it for a minute without any reaction. Janak and Sarah look at Marcello, knowing that he was looking at something. "What's the matter Marcello?" Sarah asked.
Marcello looks at Sarah. "Nothin'." he replied. He looks back out the window and the figure was gone. He closes his opened eye and began to think, "Where ever you are, I'll find you." he stated to himself.
The next day, the morning sun rose upon the three. They were at the gates of Varrock's south entrance. Sarah looked at Visdin, who was there to see the three leave. Visdin looked at Sarah with worry. "So, you'll be alright, right?" he asked. Sarah shook her head up and down. "I'll be fine - don't worry." she replied. The three waved goodbye to Visdin and Logan. Who were there to see them off.
And just like that, they were off.
A day later, they arrived in Il Pagato. Assassins of all shapes and sizes covered the area. In a bar, a man sat on a stool with a glass of wine in his hand. He was talking to the bartender, who was female. At the corner of his eyes, he saw Sarah, Janak, and Marcello walk by from the window. This caught his attention. He looked at the window and the three were gone.
"What's the matter?" the bartender asked. The man shook his head side to side. "Nothing is wrong." he replied. Back with the three, they arrived at a shop known as "Dodgy Jim's". They enter the shop, and there was an older man with double eye patchs and a Red Chinchompa on his left shoulder. He hears the three and smiled.
"Marcello! Sarah! How the bloody hell are ya?!" he greeted with joy in his voice.
"Hello Jim." Sarah greeted.
Jim noticed that there was a third pair of footsteps. Not knowing who he was - he pointed his shortblade at Janak's throat. "Who in Guthix's name are you?!"
"Ah..um...I'm-" Janak shuddered. His voice was a little bit raised.
Marcello places his right hand on Jim's blade and pushes it down. "Calm down, Jim. This is Janak Juleonlos. Don't worry, he's an ally."
"Bah. I've heard that before. And look at what happened to my eyes." Jim sighed. "Well, whatever. What kind of service can I offer you today?"
"Emperor Salomon Nike informed us that you may have information regarding the Crimson Reaper."
"Aye, I do. The Crimson Reaper was here, and made quite the crowd. People praising him like some sort of god. Blah, it makes me sick it does."
Marcello crossed his arms. "Do you know where he is now?"
Suddenly, there was a knock on the door. This took everyone's attention. "You need to hide!" Jim shouted. "Go upstairs!" And so, the three did. Jim walked towards the door and opened it, revealing the man from the bar. "Good evening Jim." the man greeted.

As for you Dot: no you weren't suppose to post. But, no need to apologize. I was my fault for not putting "Do not post". As for your bio, well..I'm not sure if I can accept it or not because I don't know which side you wish for me to make him reside on.

You know, it's not nice to point a blade at someone's throat. Tsk, tsk. Janak should be the main! So what if it's a Runescape story. He's still in it! *supports the upraise of Janak*
Great start, sis. ^^
Alva: Oh yeah! I'm an elf. The race is still alive!!
Wrong story, though, Alva.

As the Assassin Hunters Marcello, Janak, and Sarah were collecting information about the Crimson Reaper from Dodgy Jim. There appeared to be a knock on the door. Concerned, Jim demanded the three hunters to hide upstairs. Jim opened the door to his house, revealing a man who greeted him.
Jim grit his teeth for a moment after confirming to himself who it was that greeted him. "Vezyfher.." Jim mumbled the man's name. Vezyfher had his hands behind his back as he stared at Jim. Several Assassins crowded around the front of the house, knowing that Vezyfher would only confront someone he believed was breaking laws.
The Assassin crowd began whispering words to one another. "What is it that you desire?" Jim asked with his voice slightly raised.
Vezyfher gripped the handle of his blade while keeping his eye upon Jim. "You weren't talking to any Assassin Hunters, were you?" he replied with a calm voice.
"Why ever would I be talkin' to a bloody Assassin Hunter?!"
"I couldn't help the fact that I heard whispers of the words "Marcello! Sarah! How the bloody hell are ya?!" coming from your house." Vezyfher began rubbing his other hand on his chin."You weren't greeting the wanted Assassin Hunters, Marcello Saif-Al-Din and Sarah Wolfsbane, were you?"
Some of the Assassins that crowded grabbed their weapons, ready to attack. Vezyfher stopped rubbing his chin and moved it out to his side, telling the Assassins not to attack. Jim got angry. "You accusin' me of a crime, Assassin!?"
Vezyfher's grip on his sword grew stronger. "So - I guess you wouldn't mind if I searched your house for anything suspicious."
Jim quickly drew his blade. However, Vezyfher drew his blade quicker and shot a dart at Jim. The dart hits right below Jim's collarbone. Jim falls to the ground as blood began to pour to the floor. Jim's blade fell out of his hand upon the impact of hitting the floor. He began crawling away from Vezyfher.
"Well, I suppose I was correct." mumbled Vezyfher. He entered the house and moved his eyes left and right, looking for the Assassin Hunters.
Upstairs, the three heard the noise and Jim crying in pain. Janak couldn't stand it anymore. He sighed and stood to his feet. "I can't stand it anymore." he whispered. "I'm going downstairs." Right after Janak turned around to walk towards the stairs, Marcello grabbed his wrist. Janak looked behind him. With a serious expression, Marcello shook his head side to side.
"Don't." he stated. To Janak, Marcello's point was very clear.
However, Janak took his wrist back and looked back at Marcello with a serious expression of his own. "I'm not going to sit here knowing that Jim is dying because of us!"
After hearing Janak's opinion, Sarah sighed and stood to her feet as well. "Janak is right. I can't sit by and let this happen."
Marcello sighed and stood to his feet. "Alright, alright. You win. But you do realize that this is suicide."
Janak smiles. "We'll make it through, I swear."
"If you insist."
Marcello shatters the window right by them, which was at the front of the house. This caught the crowding Assassins attention as shards of glass rained on them. "What are you doing?" asked Janak with a soft voice. "Making a another way out." Marcello replied. "Come on." Marcello jumped down in the middle of the crowd. The crowd of Assassins circled around Marcello. Janak takes Sarah's hand and they both jump down right beside Marcello.
One of the Assassins points at Marcello. "It's the disgrace!" he shouted. "Kill 'im!" All the Assassins drew their weapons and acted very hostile to the three. The sound of clapping echoed throughout the clouded, foggy afternoon. Vezyfher exits the house and stopped clapping. The Assassins make a pathway for Vezyfher to walk closer.
"I knew today would be the day I would find you." Vezyfher pointed his blade at Marcello. "Marcello Saif-Al-Din."
