The Real Estate Agent said it best "A man's home is his castle. We just didn't think to take it literally."
Adventurers are flocking to the edge of the Wilderness to build their own giant fortresses.
"We can't really compete with that now that we think about it. I mean, we tried to solve the problems with the housing market by taking advantage of magic to create small little compressed spaces so that anyone could live in a giant mutli-spatial neighborhood. But alas, times change."
"Looking back, many of the features and amenities we added were great at the time. Seems like an age ago now. But I guess we got complacent. New methods were added for storing pets. Who would have thought a species of bugs would make a better way of doing prayer training than a chapel to your god? Our lawsuit against the maker of the toolbelt hasn't gotten anywhere. I swear they stole our patent. Now the tool stores are useless."
"We added the aquarium. It's great? Right?"
*sigh*
"Oh, who am I kidding. Adventurers don't want homes like these. This is for families, not people that live on the edge. A literal castle or fort on the edge of a warzone. The ability to set the place up the way you want. To do who knows what. We can't compete with that. Guess we'll need to redesign our marketing campaign to target refugees looking for a new starter home package."
