Introduction

Thanks for clicking on this thread! I’m Areno, and this is my first true story on this forum. Not one of those short stories, but an actual one. The story starts on page two, so go there right away if you just want to read. Anyways, I hope you enjoy the story and become a full-fledged reader.

About the Author

I started writing when I was in third grade, and I continued because my classmates thought my stories were intriguing even when they were outlandish. I’ve been writing ever since, most of my writing being inspired by my oldest brother’s talent and creativity. While he does not have the passion for writing like I do, he still is far better than I (maybe it’s because he’s older).

I was born and raised in Detroit, and I’m seventeen years of age. A lot of people say I’m one of the best writers at my age, but I don’t really think so. I think I have potential, but that’s about it.

My hobbies include writing (of course), playing Xbox 360 games (such as Skyrim, Call of Duty from time to time, Madden NFL 13, and the Halo series), playing football, listening to music (rap and hip-hop mostly. My favorite artists are Eminem and Hopsin), and watching Game of Thrones (love that show, even though I’ve never read the book).

My favorite authors are J.R.R. Tolkien (creator of The Lord of the Rings), R.A. Salvatore (creator of Drizzt Do'Urden and his amazing adeventures), and Suzanne Collins (creator of The Hunger Games).
