It's funny. For years people were complaining about noob stories, and about how they were ruining the forum, and now that they have decreased drastically in number the rest of the forum went with them.
I've always looked at noob stories as gateway stories. They are easy to understand and get into, and appeal to the casual reader/forumer, and after reading a noob story that they like, the readers often stick around the story forum and start reading prose stories aswell. (Heck, that's how I first started out on this forum, as a noob story reader and writer)
Maybe along with my new story I have planned, I'll try writing Noble Noob again. I doubt I'll get anywhere near the fifty posts per day that I use to get, but it might help drum up a little excitement.
