Hi,

I have no idea how often I'll be updating this since I tend to sometimes not play for days or weeks at a time. The main goal of this thread is to remind me of the things I would like to accomplish or achieve in the game. I thought it might be nice to have a nice little way of tracking my progress as well. It should be noted that I'm an extremely casual player that doesn't try extremely hard in this game.

Currently, I'm 85 combat with the following stats:



Additionally, I have 236 Quest Points, but I still haven't completed the Elf Questline from Regicide onwards.

The Achievement Diaries I've done as of now are:




Goals currently, in no specific order:
Base 70's
Colored Graceful Set
100% all Kourend Favors, currently 30% in all from the Kourend quests
Gold Castlewars Armor Set, currently at 242 tickets
Get a PvM Pet, unsure which as of right now
All Fossil Island Fossils collected/Varrock Museum Fossil Exhibit completed
Champion's Cape Challenge completion
All Medium Achievement Diaries completed
All quests completed that don't grant Defence XP
Full Void for all three styles, currently no pieces
Full Penance Outfit (Currently own Fighter's Torso and Fighter Hat, even though I can't wear it)

Well, that's about all that comes to mind as of right now.

Any tips or advice is appreciated, I by no means know all there is to know about this game.

Progress today:

New pb at jad, which isn't saying a ton since the first one took me quite a while, but it's progress I suppose. I like the jad pet, so I might try doing these more from time to time.

Over the last few days, I've been working on a few different things. I've gotten my Strength up to 85 with a combination of Ammonite Crabs and some Slayer tasks. Additionally, I unlocked the Slayer Helmet earlier tonight.


I love the aesthetic of the Slayer Helmet so much. I want to get one of the recolors, but I haven't decided which one to go for yet (Recolors cost 1,000 Slayer Points, so I'll be stuck with whichever one I choose for a while before being able to change).


Side note: I'm also trying to complete the entire Fossil Exhibit under the Varrock Museum, which is a large part of why I'm training at Ammonite Crabs as opposed to solely through Slayer or via Nightmare Zone.

For anyone who doesn't play OSRS, there was an area added into the game known as "Fossil Island." The island introduced a variety of new combination skilling methods such as fishing+thieving, fishing+hunter, and herblore+hunter (referring to Herbiboar) as well as Birdhouses, Hardwood Trees, a new breed of Wyverns, and a few other new things.

While doing various activities on the island, there's a chance of receiving/finding various fossils. These fossils are either small, medium, large, or rare. Once you have five of one type of fossil, then you can add them to displays in the lowest level of the Varrock Museum. Completing a display grants you an experience lamp that grants xp based on which tier display you completed. One of my mini-goals on this account is to complete all of the Fossil Displays in the basement.

Not a ton of progress the past few days. Had places to be Friday night as well as Saturday for a chunk of the day. Gained a few strength levels and completed 2 small fossil displays as well as a new personal best at Jad. Still no pet, but 3 fire capes in the bank. I suppose it'll be useful if I ever somehow lose them, or I could just chuck them all for gambles at the pet potentially as well one day.

The fight caves are actually a lot easier on the modern resizable client as opposed to the fixed classic-sized client. I'd highly recommend changing client sizes for the fight caves.

On a completely unrelated note. I've really been enjoying this outfit. I've used it for the past week whenever I was bankstanding or doing things non-combat-related. I like the way everything blends together on it.

I know there are better mainslot items, but I've been casting Bake Pie to train Magic and Cooking, and this staff covers all the runes I need for the spells.

That's all, nothing too fancy. I know that I need to be working towards other goals, but someone told me about the Handmaid's Tale on Saturday, and it sounded interesting to me. So, I ended up checking out and watching about 8 or 9 episodes of it. It's a pretty interesting show. The only downside is the constant bombardment of ads from Hulu telling me about match/eharmony. I guess my browser sees all the RuneScape wiki things I look up and determined that I'm single.

To be fair, I probably should get out more, but that's a topic for another time.

I have a bit more to add to this update!

To start things off, I've been training Slayer a bit, made it up to level 61 so far which means I unlocked the leaf-bladed sword. While the sword has a lower strength bonus than the granite hammer, it has higher accuracy which makes it better for hitting more accurately with a cannon on slayer tasks. This means that I'll probably be running it for a decent majority of my tasks that I decide to melee. Additionally, I unlocked my first colored Slayer helmet, the Twisted Slayer helmet. I'm really liking the look personally.


I've also been working towards getting my skills to base 70. I did Woodcutting at Suliusceps in order to gain fossils, also it's really decent xp for my level. I started at 65 and only went up until level 70, but I was averaging around 65-70k xp p/h semi afk. I'll probably keep training there in the future.


I've also been working on Construction some. This skill will probably be my next 99. I did a few runs of the new Mahogany Homes activity. I don't want to call it a minigame, but I'm not sure what the best term would be to describe it. Essentially, you speak to an NPC in Falador who assigns you to repair or replace pieces of furniture in the homes of certain NPCs across RuneScape. You gain Construction xp for repairing/replacing the items as well as points for each task. You can buy useful items with the points such as an outfit that boosts Construction xp gained, a sack that carries up to 28 planks, and a saw that can be equipped in the main hand.


Finally, I made some more progress on one of the more obnoxious grinds - Pest Control. Just a few minutes ago I finished off getting the full Ranged set. I'd like to get the two other helms in the future, but it feels great to have these for now.
