This is a very well written thread, and I can see from this you've already achieved a LOT! Congratulations on 99 Crafting (however late it may be ).

Although, I've never looked at my accomplishments as being any good I gave up on many things, notice how my Runecrafting level is not rising at all at the moment.
Fortunately, you have enough enthusiasm to go around this room!

I don't really plant yews and palms anymore now, but no, planting them does not earn me any money. In fact, I lose money doing so, but I earn it back by Runecrafting. A yew seed averages 90,000gp, while a palm seed averages 100,000gp.
