I have been mentoring a friend who has recently gotten into DG. She was at DG 38 when she started training the skill. Before that, all her DG XP was from lamps and from that Christmas event where you transformed into a seal to slide across an ice maze. She has worked through to complexity 6, and last I knew was at DG 44. Her main goal is DG 45, so she can access the resource dungeon in the Mining Guild. However, now she's saying she may go for DG 50, so she can use three bound items.
What suggestions might you have for her as far as items to be bound? Normally, she ranges. However, she has taken to using melee while Dungeoneering. Her current binds are a zeph platebody and plateskirt. I believe her intention is to bind a zeph weapon next. Does this sound like a good plan to you? It's been so long since I trained DG to a significant amount, all my binds are still fractite!
Thanks in advance for any DG wisdom you might have to impart, and again well done on the 99!
Oh, and she only does DG solo, just like me. Maybe she'd be open to trying it in a group though. I'm not sure on that. Actually, magic is best and most effective dps in F2P! Your friend may try to bind these if melee with range: Argonite maul / Argonite 2h / Argonite main-hand and off-hand knives! They're currently the strongest and best tier for F2P DG! Better is to bind cosmic runes for gatestone so you can teleport back to a location if you reach a dead-end or gate a keydoor!
