Nice...but here's an even more diabolical event idea:

Negative XP Live!

Warn legit players, naturally. Then watch the fun as bots skill so much for so long (unaware their XP is going down with every click) they make themselves unable to collect higher-tier resources! When the bot farmer finally logs in to check on his bot army, they now have lower stats and they are stuck trying to get what they no longer have the ability to gather.

Like Kat said, of course it'll never happen. Still, it's fun to imagine if it did.

I like your thought, Jamandy. Make it an April Fools event! Even if the effect is temporary, and nobody permanently loses their XP, there are bound to be some who won't get it. They will get upset, make demands for reparations, or simply ragequit.
