So I started doing some of the miniquests and I found out that in one of the quests I fight a monster called the Arhat. I thought these dragons looked really cool and so I looked the stuff that they dropped…and it turns out that they have a drop that’s part of a t85 spear weapon called the Mizuyari. I was like “Huh, that would be absolutely lovely at Corporeal Beast, since the Chaotic Spear still sometimes misses, and Vesta Spear sucks because its too expensive and unrepairable. I saw that the wiki said it was very rare and I found on reddit that someone said they it was supposed to be 1 in 2500 and that another person got it in just over 2000 kills. There was another one that got it in around 20 kills. So I decided to camp these dragons for their drop called Seiryu’s Claw. I went in with Penance for infinite prayer since they have a special attack that does around 2,500, which they don’t always use and usually every one that you fight will use it at most one time before you get to killing it. I also brought a Holy Overload to increase the speed of kills. Lo and behold, in just about 40 minutes of fighting these creatures, a festive beam shines over one of my items and I see a huge present-style loot beam on the ground…and here it is:
My penance aura hasn’t even run out yet and I just thought that this was absolutely amazing for future Corp. kills. Now I just need to collect 5,000 chimes to buy the other part, the Seiryu’s Fang, from Boni at Waiko.
Thus ends my first week of logs.
Pocket value = 44mill. 44mill – 27.4mill = 16.6mill profit.
From beginning of the week: 44mill – 93k = 43.9mill profit this week.
