Hey Semp! Sorry for not posting in a bit, college got my behind on posting on some people threads :@

I'd like to say congrats on all prior achievements in these recently weeks. I'm going to guess it's been a good amount from your prior consistency ;)

Congrats on achieving your 23rd 80 (summoning) :) ... only three left as stated and I'm sure it won't be too long till you have those completed as well! :D .. You seem to have a solid plan on what you're gunna do which always a good thing :P Best of luck on them!

Lastly, I like the name change ;) .. though Semp(r)eh was also a creative name, even If it was a nuisance on the forums :P

No problem Chrono, school definitely comes first! I'm glad you are enjoying your first year at college :)

I'm glad you like the name change :D I was just getting annoyed of it always getting censored on the forums. I figured I could've gone with something totally new but I'm just so used to this name I couldn't bring myself to do it. Plus, everyone calls me Semp anyways :P

But thanks for the continued support throughout this thread. I'm coming to a close with this goal and your support/advice has definitely helped me out!

Well guys...

I got 80 Thieving today. Definitely a lot quicker than I had anticipated. Kinda just grinded it out lol..

Also, I achieved 85 Dungeoneering today which I was pretty happy about as well. Will definitely have to try out frost dragons sometime soon. From here on out I will be at the Lustrous memories **v location (I believe that's Canifis) apart from when I am doing my farm runs. Can't believe how close I am to finally completing this goal :D

Also, originally I was going to plant yews in the place of maples. It wasn't until after I planted them in pots that I realized the farmers require 10 cactus spines to look after it, ugh. So I have about 30ish yew seeds which I will use and then switch back over to maples as the cost is just too ridiculous.

QUESTION FOR YOU GUYS:

When doing herb runs, should I only do them when I know I will be on for a good amount of time? The reason I ask is I did two farm runs earlier with avantoes (was waiting for my lantadymes to buy) and I was logged off for a few hours. Came back to find that two of my patches completely died on me (both times). So I'm just wondering if I should only plant when I know I will be on shortly after they're done (I believe it's like an 1hr 15min grow time).

It's good to see that you're closing in on finally completing your goal! I joined halfway through but it's good to see how you're just plowing through them, knocking them off one by one!

Glad to see you've flown through thieving, too. It's a quick skill once you get the swing of it and grinding it out just gets it out of the way, leaving you with only 10 levels for all 80+! Congratulations on 75 Divination and Farming as well, at least your remaining skills are relaxing ones, and ones that you can also AFK.

As for the farming, the time you leave the patch doesn't really affect the outcome of the herb, that just sounds like bad luck you've had... The herbs can only become diseased in a stage, and once it passes that stage it will die, so once your herbs are fully grown they'll just stay fully grown if they hadn't become diseased during growing. All 5 of my herbs were fully grown when I quit last time - and 2 years later still alive! ^_^

You should still use yews. Their death rate's only like 1 in 8 or lower. They really don't need the protection.

Congrats on your recent achievements! You beat me to 80 Theiving! Good job!

To answer your herb run question, I'll tell you my personal experiences. When I do herb runs, I just buy a lot of seeds. Then I go to all five farming patches. If I'm still on in an hour and a half, then I'll go do another herb run. If a herb can be saved, I save it. If not, oh well. If I'm gone for an extended amount of time, such as my 8 hours of sleep (NOT!) I still do my herb run before I go to sleep so I can pick them up the next morning. Instead of thinking: My herbs might die if I'm not on, think this way: My herbs might live when I'm not on, which would give me a profit. So I'd say just plant your herbs no matter what.

Really? Doesn't seem so bad yet my luck is awful in this game. I will keep that in mind though. I have to say I enjoy the XP they give compared to maples lol. Anyways, thanks for posting and congratulations on getting 80+! :)

Hey guys, been a little bit busy with school this week so I haven't made any more progress. Unfortunately I have been slammed with work so my attention has been on that instead of RS. Hopefully things will die down by the weekend but I just wanted to let you guys know why I've been off for the last two days and why you probably won't see me for a couple more. Honestly will only be logging in to use keys, check raffle, and do a quick couple of dailies.
