Omg, nice! Scroll of Life and Greenfingers help tons during farm runs! I save so much!
Quests are pretty annoying... I hated getting my Quest Cape, but hey.. It's worth it!

Peace, Love, and Harmony.
Ms Cole

Yeah, I love the Greenfingers Aura :P

Quests are the worst thing in RS for me so the Quest cape is something I'll never get, probably. I just felt the ones I just completed were long overdue and I still have some left that I really need to do (like DT, whoops).

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

68 & 69 Agility
achieved. Thinking I won't be able to train this nonstop from start to finish like I have with the rest of my skills. Just gets so boring after awhile. So thank you Mot, Haha, Livid, and Chrono for coming, definitely made it a lot better! :P

Also started doing some
Herb runs.
Since I'm only 55 farming, I will be doing Avantoes for now. Any other suggestions? Doesn't necessarily have to be herbs, I'm just at a loss when it comes to this skill.

7.27.14:

Started out today with getting an
agility level (70)
and then left to do herb runs and use my aura. I also had to cap for my clan so I just decided to use my aura there - on the summoning and crafting plots. As a result, I received
77 summoning
and
82 & 83 crafting
. Also, during a herb run I did manage to get
56 farming
.

Once that ran out, I logged for a little bit and when I logged back on, I went back to the
agility
course and managed to get
71
tonight. Near the end of my run, I saw a
PKer
for the first time and nearly gave myself a
heart attack
. Luckily, he was just coming down the pipe as I was crossing the rocks so I had plenty of time to log. Throughout the day I also did a million herb runs, sadly, a lot of herbs ended up dying so I'm hoping it will get better as I get higher. Was
just shy of level 57
too so that was a bit of a shame.

Tomorrow, I have another day off from work but most of it will be spent shopping I think :P Will still try and get another agility level though and some herb runs in. OH and I also decided that I will stay at the
wildy course until 75
at which point I'll
switch to the Ape Atoll
course. Wooo.

Didn't take long for you to start doing your farm runs! Hope they're profitable for you :D

Righteo, the fastest way (and usually most costly) to train farming is by planting Trees and Fruit Trees (I think there's others but I'm stuck in the old ways of training ^_^ ). The best of both that you can plant currently are: Maple and Papaya . Each time you plant one of these, you'll need to give a payment of a basket of Oranges and 10 Pinapples respectively. These can be in note form.

Before planting, the tree seeds need to be placed into a plant pot with soil (buyable from the Grand Exchange - you'll also need a seed dibber unless on toolbelt) and then watered (the magic watering can from the Fairy Tale quests will help here). Once this is done you can place them in the bank indefinately, you won't need to re-water them or anything.

There are currently 5 Tree Patches and 4 Fruit Tree Patches (that you can access), the Tree Patches are at:
- Lumbridge (Western side of river, between the two bridges)
- Falador Park
- Taverly
- Varrock Castle Courtyard
- Gnome Tree Stronghold (SW of the Bank)

The Fruit Tree Patches are at:
- Tree Gnome Stronghold (Within walking distance of Agility Course)
- Catherby (By the base of White Wolf Mountain)
- Gnome Maze (west)
- Brimhaven (by the docks)

Both trees grow in stages, with Maples going through 8 stages at 40 minutes each (5hrs 20mins), Yews going through 10 stages at 40 minutes each (6hrs 40mins) and Fruit Trees going through 6 stages at 160 minutes each (16hrs) - but they can sometimes take longer! It's a pain, but it happens sometimes.

With these times, you should be able to fit in 2 Trees and 1 Fruit Tree a day, depending on when you login. If you do your run when you first log on, then you might be able to sneak in a tree run before you log off for the night.

Your inventory should be:
5x Maple/Yew Sapling (depending on which route you take)
{Noted} 5x Basket of Oranges / 50x Cactus Spines

4x Papaya Tree Sapling
{Noted} 40x Pineapples

Provided your toolbelt is full you shouldn't have a problem with the tools, you should also have an hatchet on your toolbelt if you wish to chop your tree down, or you can always pay the nearby farmer
200gp
to chop it and then remove the stump yourself.

Next up, this is my suggested route to take, just as it flows nicely, from one area to the other, you can change it if you wish (or if someone else says another route is better):

1)
Start at Varrock Castle Courtyard Patch

2) Run to GE Spirit Tree and teleport to Gnome Tree Stronghold, run to Fruit Patch
3) Run SW to Tree Patch in Gnome Tree Stronghold
4) Spirit Tree to Gnome Tree Village, get guided out of maze, run to Fruit Patch
5) Lodestone to Lumbridge, run NNE to Tree Patch
6) Lodestone to Falador, run to Tree Patch
7) Lodestone to Taverly, run to Tree Patch
8) Lodestone to Catheryby, run to Tree Patch
9) Run to Catherby Docks, take regular (30gp) ship to Brimhaven, run to Fruit Patch.

-- Run Complete --

When picking the Papayas from your Fruit Tree Patches, use the 6 Papayas with the Tool Leprechaun and they will be noted, to save you from having to bank. Now, onto the numbers:

Firstly, do one run of regular Trees, as you won't be able to plant Papayas yet. This should get you 57 Farming, so you'll be able to plant Papayas. Then you have two options to get to 80:

- Maples/Papayas to 60, Yews/Papayas to 80
or
- Maples/Papayas to 80

The difference is around 8m cost, but also 12 days provided you do 2 Trees and 1 Fruit Tree per day.

(Provided my Maths is right...)
Doing Maples/Papayas to 60, then Yews/Papayas to 80 :
2x Runs to 60 (20 Maples, 8 Papayas)
19x Runs to 80 (190 Yews, 76 Papayas)
This comes out at around 26.9m, but should only take 21 days.

Doing Maples/Papayas to 80:
33x Runs to 80 (330 Maples, 132 Papayas)
This will come out to around 21.5m, but will take 33 days.

You'll also get about 2.5m back from the Papayas, too. Right, I think that's everything, if you need anymore help just give us a shout in-game! Sorry for the long post ;)

*breathes*

Congratulations on 77 Summoning, 82/3 Crafting, 56 Farming and 71 Agility! Can you slow down a little, you might catch me soon! :P Pk'ers are fun, aren't they? They'll jump out at you and give you the fright of your life, it's like, where the hell do they come from? and that's a good plan with Agility, Ape Atoll is a bit slower but there's no pk'ers there to get you.

Was good fun to train Agility with you! (Can't believe I'm at 71...) Albeit I did not enjoy the instant karma :@ (I accidentally hit Semp, then failed the log obstacle and fell down). We need to get Haha, Livid and Chrono back over, was all a good laugh.

Keep up the good work Semp! ^_^ - Once again, sorry about the long post, didn't realise how long it'd get :P But at least you should be able to refer to this for future use when you go for 99! ;)

Grats on all your recent levels! You've gotten too many for me to name :P plus its getting late here, hehe. Hope the rest of your agility levels go by smoothly. Also, don't let those PK'ers get to you! :P Be on guard at all times! But most of all, have fun. I think its kinda cool you're training in the wildy course... it gives agility a bit more life as there is that danger of being pk'ed... but that's the fun of it :P Keep up the amazing work lately!!

P.S. You stop failing obstacles at Ape Atoll agilility course at level 75, so its good idea to go there at that level. You'll find that the levels will go by much faster without failures! :D

Thank you for this! For some reason I must have missed this and it will be a HUGE help :)

I was looking at some guides and it looks like the XP at Ape is a little bit higher. I think it has a higher fail rate though, but I've heard at level 75 you pretty much stop falling constantly. So I will check it out and let you know what I think. And yes, that was loads of fun, it's always better to train with other people. I look forward to training with you further! :)

I would just like to thank you once again Mot for all that you've done for me. You are one of the kindest, most genuine person I know. Even though we've only known each other for a month(?) I feel like it's been sososo much longer than that. It's always such a pleasure talking to you in-game and I'm really happy we are training agility together even if you try and kill me from time to time :(

But seriously, you are an awesome friend and go beyond and above all expectations. The fact you took the time out of your day to write those posts and do those calculations means a lot to me, a whole lot more than I think you will ever know. For me, it shows that you really care about my goals and wish to help in any way that you can and that's an awesome feeling. The RS community, as you know, has this reputation of being horrible so I'm really lucky to have crossed paths with you and I wish everyone was more like you even if it was just a fraction of Motley807 :P

I don't know if you know this but when I came back to RS, my friend's list was dead except for a few other people and I was confident my list would never grow. I'm so happy I've decided to be apart of this G&A community because it has allowed me to meet so many great people and I think what you are doing with Achiever's United is awesome. So thank you once again for doing so much for not only me, but this entire community. You are one of a kind and deserve all great things in life! ;)

I have to say at first I was totally dreading training agility. But I have to say, it really isn't as bad as I expected. The trick is doing little bits at a time and I feel like all the bonus xp I had for the skill definitely helped :)

& yeah, I'm pretty lucky he didn't get to me. Surprisingly, he was the first PKer I've seen and he sure got my adrenaline pumping :P

&& good to know about the Ape Atoll course, I think it will be a nice change of scenery even if there's that added danger to the wildy course. And thank you for coming along to train with us for a little bit, it definitely made running laps 10x more enjoyable! :)
