Congratulations on all of your runecrafting levels, Runespan is definitely a great place just for the ability to Afk, so you can browse the forums or watch some netflix, but it will go by much quicker than you think!
I also love the idea of a G&Aer penguin hunt, sounds like a lot of fun!
I'm also similar to Chrono in that I like to train a single skill at a time until I reach my desired goal, but it is all personal preference so what works for one person may not work for the next. Whatever you choose to do I know you will make it to your goals!

Thanks for the support. RC definitely isn't one of my favorite skills to train but RuneSpan sort of helps and makes the skill bearable at least! Although, I don't mind the traditional way I have to say but only small amounts at a time

Thanks it was nice to see and talk to you in-game as well! We should really start PMing more...lately I feel as if I'm not 100% focused though, which doesn't help so this is mainly my fault;( Luckily (well not really) the next skill I'm going to train is Agility which will require 100% focused attention so I'll definitely be sending some PMs your way! And yes, I always stick to one skill at a time, not really sure why just the way it's always been for me but glad I'm not the only one

I went with Haha once before and was supposed to go again but something came up for me irl that I had to deal with. Now I'm at RuneSpan and would rather stay here till I'm 80 (as I'm sure you know) so the timing for me has just been off. I will definitely be up for it after though

7.18.14 Update:
So it seems since the last time I've posted I have achieved 74 & 75 Runecrafting and will be hitting 76 shortly. It definitely seems to be going by pretty quickly and I'm very happy that I'm almost 76 because once I get 77 it should be a lot smoother (77 allows me to siphon
My strategy has changed a little bit though. Originally, I was on the top floor camping an island but a few friends (as well as some guides on the internet) were telling me that it's best to stay on the middle floor until 77 which does make sense as I wasn't able to siphon the blood runes on top. So, that's the little variation in my plan but I hope to my on the top floor soon!
One thing that I have found a little strange are these

Yellow Wizards.
As any reasonable person would assume, giving them the runes they
requested
should give you the most XP however I've found that you should give them YOUR highest rune aka completing ignoring their request. Yeah...I have no idea.

Agility
(meh) so if anyone is just itching to train that lovely skill let me know!!
