Achieved Level 92 Runecrafting
(Halfway there!)

So I managed to reach 92 Runecrafting today which means I have officially half the XP I need for 99, which is either depressing or motivating depending on how you think about it!

My plan is to post whenever I get 92 in a skill, 10 million experience and eventually when I get a 99.

As a side note I added my own simple way of measuring my progress to the next level on the front page. Each "-" means 5%, the green is what I currently have and the red is what is left to go.

EDIT: Thanks to Cheezybee, I traded my Willow Sentinel Boots and Maple Sentinel Chest (which wasn't required) for an Oak Sentinel Chest and Legs. So I have:

Achieved the Oak Sentinel Outfit
(Elite Woodcutting Skilling Outfit)

The poor guy had to hop twice because I realised I could just trade a random piece for the legs only afterwards , but that 5% extra success chance for Woodcutting is greatly appreciated as well as the 25% chance to burn a log for Firemaking XP.

I'll never need to train Firemaking normally thanks to this and cremation.

Wow, I just made it to just shy of 99 runecrafting in OSRS yesterday crafting soul runes and I thought that was quite the grind... I can't even imagine doing it in F2P!

I have not played RS3 in a while... I assume you are crafting runes the way I remember doing it in RS3 F2P, the old back and forth from the bank with essence and a tiara?

Apologies for the late reply, I have been very lazy to update this thread

In Rs3 we have the luxury of AFK Runecrafting in the RuneSpan, so luckily for me no running to altars!

With more information on Necromancy coming next week, we should know if the new skill will go to level 99 or level 120. We should also learn what level F2P will be capped at, assuming there will be an F2P skill cap on Necromancy.

Personally, I am expecting this will be a P2P skill, with a skill cap of level 20 for free players. Sure, Jagex could surprise me and make Necromancy an F2P skill, but I don't think it is likely.

If I am right, your new total skill level goal will become 1790. I've been putting out fire with gasoline!

Well it does look like it will be capped at 20 and I don't think I could get 1770 pre-release despite just DG remaining

I'm not sure how I would tackle Necromancy because I believe I just used lamps in Archaeology lol
