99 within the month did not go as scheduled
I am currently sitting at 95 smithing as my last two attempts at using enlightenment aura went terribly because of some serious connection issues. I will be making money to train with addy plates, and will be using up the corrupt ore I have left over from mining (10k or so) to work towards 99.
Trying to establish some short term goals to get me going, and I'm open to any suggestions on things to fill the time - anything to mix it up and keep it fun and interesting in my *slow* road to max!

Recently started killing QBD, and I have to say it is easier than I imagined it would be
Doing that for the time being, as well as skilling when I don't feel like killing massive dragons!

It's very nice to see someone who's kept their thread up to date this long.
Don't forget to use scroll of effie**y and portables for your smithing, It'll save you a significant amount of money in the end.
At 97-98 you could use the banner to boost your smithing and even profit a little bit on smithing skirts/legs/2hs.
Lastly, don't forget your caches for divination.

Thank you for the advice! I've actually gotten pretty lucky recently with the raffle and have won the 5 large protean packs twice, which means 3k protean bars
Should be enough to get me to 99 smithing very quickly this weekend
Just finished killing QBD 100 times, made ~24m so I'm putting that money + some to buy silverhawk feathers for this weekend as well. Though I don't mind training agility, it will be nice to gain over 1m xp while not training it
Not sure about which skill to train after smithing on DXP weekend. I'm thinking I will do some agility because it's my lowest skill, and also because the xp rates are apparently great with priff thieiving. Though I'm also considering training Div/RC because they are just so darn slow!

I GOT THE QBD PET
Only took 136 kills, and I am thrilled about having it.
I won some more of those protean prize packs, so I now have 15 of them, or 4500 of any protean items that I want
I will be using ~3000 for protean bars to get 99 smithing fairly quickly during dxp, but I'm not sure if protean traps are really worth it or not.
I would love some input on that, as if they aren't really worth using, I will just put it into bars to simply raise some more smithing xp.
