Hello! I'm TomG, I've been around the game for many years and have recently amped up my play a bit more then usual, and this has come with some new goals in mind!

I've been able to play the game for a long time and have always enjoyed it, but never took stats to another level outside of normal 99's.

So i'm here to set about 6-7 goals, some short term, some not so short term. Both skill wise snd otherwise. I will update this thread hopefully at least every other day with my progress, just to track it all.


So what are my goals? Easier said then done. But in no particular order;

- 99 invention. 94 to start now 108 MISSION COMPLETE!
-120 invention 94 to start, 109 now.
-120 range, 115 Start, now 118
-120 slayer , 113 start, now 114
-Meet some new players! People to talk runescape shop with. Share tips and what not. Could use around 5 active players or more with goals of there own.
-Gain 75 quest points. I haven't quested in literally runescape ages, and i'd like to fix that .
- (Sillygoal) meet a jagex mod. Haven't run into one in all my years of playing. A 3 or so accounts over the almost 15 year history of my game time frame.

My main 3 slayer assignments are abbys, dark beasts, and gargs. Mixed in with some random ones if i am bored. I am lucky enough to have those masks so i can get a task everyday.


My private chat is always on, so if you wanted to message me to talk goals or just talk about mindlessly picking flax years ago i'd be down for that!

As stated, i will update this fairly regularly, as these goals are reachable! Ill be the first to admit I'm not the most effcient player, but a productive one.

I also am helping run a clan. So that takes up some of my time. Message me if you wanna join

I always range and use a blood fury, luck of the dwarves, combatants cape, and an aura. (Vamp, wisdom, jack of trades), and a few other ones.

I'm U.S. based but have no obvious patttern to playing. Sort of all over the place. I play everyday but most of the people i am friends with, obviously don't cross over as well. So I am,always down to conversate as sometimes we don't allign together. So anyways on the hunt for new friends.
I'm not sure if anyone reads goals anymore, and mine are not the funnest lol
But some things i use/do. Not all of what i do or use are listed.

Silverhawk feathers

Extreme defense
Spring cleaner 9001
Gem bag

I don't use overloads, just because it would kinda be a waste, and i have extreme range left over from 99 herb.

I pick up nearly all drops, with area loot and all the notes i can't bring myself to leave them there. If i jump into a world and there are drops, ill collect them and hop. (I don't mind looking noobish )

I will always hop if i crash someone on accident, but will sorta fight for spots if ive been there. Although if someone is more focused ill hop without saying anything. No need to be toxic.

I sell when i have ge space, or when i have lots of loot. I try to flip various stuff. Using Silverhawk feathers sorta makes it needed to break even.

I have been considering joining friendly guest clan chats, or friends chats, if only to have more people to talk to. If you'd have me i'd love to talk! Also, if its a guest clan chat i would not attempt ti recruit for my own clan. I just like being social when scaping. I might be taking some time off on some of these goals to help the clan with bossing. But im going to at least try to get one task in a day. And that 99 invention is coming soon. Completed a dark beast task and got an effigy today as well, which is kinda cool as i havent seen one on the ground for me in years. (My drop luck is below average and i do not boss as much). Took apart an item today so i am 20k or so off 98 invention with one more item about ready it will be 98 next task.

Some happy distractions today, god statues, gaining a construction level, along with x2 troll invasion for a farming level. Capped at citadel so im very close to 97 wc, but that will likely come next week with next weeks caps. Also a virtual agility level today, because why not? I may do an override to have the agility cape over the combatants cape as i love the way that cape looks. Blue. Just like the ocean .

I like doing my side stuff to break up the tasks, it leads to better gameplay and stops burnout.

Going to learn some higher level bosses in the next week, if only to grow the clan. So i can then teach others and we can have better odds at recruiting. Not that its a problem getting and keeping clanmates, but one can never have enough rs friends. Especially when attempting the goals i am shooting for. Runescape is infinitely more fun when playing with others, or even having a conversation while doing basic things. I have more or less been a solo player for nearly my entire run of my account and i've changed that over the last few months and would like to continue having some good old fashioned scap'ing fun.

So more to come, but worst case scenario these goals take slightly longer. Which i am perfectly ok with as i am not going anywhere.
