Hey, I know it may be a little late for this, but have you ever considered smithing mithril?
I currently smith around 500-1k mithril into bars, then smith the bars into mith bolts. Not sure how much exp I got a day from smelting (got bored and just used GE to buy and sell mith bars/bolts), but from smithing mithril bars, I can get upwards of 20-30k every hour and a half (depending on how much forum surfing I do).
It's a lot faster than your method, but maybe not quite as profitable. I lose around 123 gold every bar (118 from bars to bolts and 5 for feathers), so if you want to make some money, I'd stick with your method, but if you want to cut down your finishing time for your goal by about 5 times!! I'd recommend using another method.

Thank you for the concern Archrofwrath. I do understand that my method is slow (if not the slowest) but when I started this goal I set my mind on one way and that method was iron. As the profit goes I don't do it for profit. All I care about is breaking even so I can continue with my goal. Thank you again for the concern But I have no intention on taking another method.
