So some time in middle/late July i decided to make a osrs account on my phone, it was during the covid pandemic and I needed something to keep my entertained while furlough, on the 7/1/21 I secured my quest cape this was a big achievement for me considering I did it all on my phone I don't own a computer, I have two kids and couldn't justify spending money on a pc just to play osrs when i wouldn't be able to play it 80% of the day due to responsibilities, most of everything these days can be done on a smart phone anyway.
The reason this was an achievement to me is be cause 10-12 years ago around last time i touched this game i was never a quester I remember being 12 and doing underground pass for the first time in 2005 without a guide, and that pretty much enough to put you off questing for life lol.
So I set myself a goal pretty much a few weeks into my new osrs adventure to secure that cape and I finally did it 2 weeks ago!
But this isn't just an achievement post I have a question because I've gotten to the stage where I'm getting burnt out and other than doing my elite diary's which is going to take alot of skilling which I ain't feeling for awhile tbf... I want to start doing raids and I'm just wondering how the difficulty would be for someone on mobile and if any clans/groups would consider giving me the chance knowing I'm on mobile.
I'm a pretty fast learner and so far on my phone other than doing all the quests bosses and hard diarys I've also gotten my fire cape and avas assembler so I'm relatively competent on my phone I think lol.
So what do you reckon my chances would be like on mobile doing raids 1 + 2? Also I know there is more bosses out there i could kill but I'm not going for pets or hiscores bragging rights, vorkath is a good enough money maker solo I just want to experience raids you see.
