Niap, I cannoned all of my Slayer (apart from some XP from lamps and penguins). Whenever I get a task that I can't cannon, I change it at Tureal. The only things Tureal assigns that I can't cannon are Crawling hands and Dwarves, so I have to recoil those.
World-hopping while playing Soulwars usually forces you to join the losing team, I always just join a crowded world (usually 44) and follow the high-level Familiars when a new game is about to start. It's not that hard to see which team will win, and is 90% of the time 3 Zeal.
When I started playing on this account I used to alch in the Party-room whilst getting 99 Magic, I got around 50M+ worth of drops whilst alching there, and that was pretty much my start-up fund. After that I merched with it, and decided never to go below the 100M total wealth. Apart from merching it's *really* hard to make any kind of money, but I also used to do the Gnome Delivery minigame which can be quite profitable if you're lucky, you might give that a try.
And yeh, there's no way to kill the Banshee Mistress in Smoking kills with a recoil, as she get's her HP back too quick, by the time your ring deals more then 50 damage she already healed back to full HP. - If she didn't heal herself it would be quite easy, but I tried many times, and even with a pack-yak full of rocktails I never got further then 3/4 of her HP.
It's impossible to get Vengeange with 10 HP, as the subquest gives a 1.2k HP XP reward or something, and I'm 100% sure that other players can't enter the bossroom, as you enter via a cutscene.
Recoiling a task isn't that bad though, I use Dwarven Stouts to get my defence level to 0 to make them hit more often. Recoiling a task takes like an hour or something max, only annoying thing about it is that I never really pay attention, which sometimes results in a trip to lumby :p
