That's pretty risky Speedruns, 1 mistake and you could get a HP level. But goodluck if you're going to try it that way. Wouldn't Pest control work for Combat? (Or is that empty aswell?)

Well, just got back from holidays a week ago, really had the best time ever. I'll be starting my summer job tomorow. (which starts daily at 6 am... ) I'll be working there for 3 weeks and then going away for a week to camp with friends of my students-society after which it's back to Uni :p

You should come to the lobby sometimes, I might be on again nowadays

How are you doing thieving? Since you're 99 def I assume you can wear lp boosting armor, so if you're doing Pyramid plunder, I'll do it with you, I'm currently going for 99 thieving (94 atm)

Not risky at all. You can cast Binds with a Crossbow/Bow with no ammo to prevent accidentally attacking — The only downside is you need a friend to even do this. They will get 0 XP from your "kills". Same goes exactly with Slayer and Slayer Masks, the kills will count to your mask and you will get the Slayer XP from those kills. You even get the drops ( ) so I nabbed myself a Baby Black dragon in EoC and got a Double Basilisk head drop on my 140th Basilisk kill with the Mask of Reflection.

...and Pest Control requires a Minimum Damage amount of 5000(?) to get any rewards, so that's an almost instant no-go.

Yes, I'll be doing Pryramide plunder for my thiefing, but it's not on my list of priorities atm. I'm just doing daily tasks, and Runespan when I have the time. (with my summer-job I barely have any time) Goodluck though, 99 shouldn't take that long if you're 94 already!

You can repair barricades in Pest control in order to get your points, so you won't have to do any combat. (unless they changed this recently) And oh, I didn't know that was possible. I hope you can find someone to help you train (Or let Soulwars be active again :p )

Sadly there seems to be a glitch where you can't do this with Icefiends (Pre-EoC still?), and I got an Icefiend task, so no more Slayer for me, unless I do Recoils which are.... very very very long

Edit: Icefiends for some reason can no-longer be recoil killed for the Slayer XP, therefore I am stuck on Icefiends for my Task — Fix please Jagex

You should make a thread about. (And of course submit a bug-report.)

When Jagex released "Constitution" (HP x 10) they didn't update the ring of recoil properly, so I couldn't do dwarf tasks anymore. I made a thread in the general forums, and after about a month a Mod Stevew ( a Community management Jmod) had contacted Mod Easty (Who was in charge of the update), Mod Easty left a reply that he would look into it. A week after that it fixed.

Maybe you'll have some luck aswell and it could get fixed some day (And people are very helpfull, and might know things that might help you train Slayer in other ways. I got a lot of great tips during the time I had my thread running)
