Runecrafting is done. All this is left for the player owned ports skills is Herblore. And that is going to take a while before I get there. Speaking of taking a while, I noticed I didn't do any of the quests I was going to do. Well, I'll make up for it somehow before the end of my subscription, which is now extended to October.

Hello, all. Sorry I couldn't create another post about my progress, but I'll might as well make one now. So far, I've completed two more quests on the lists, including Evil Dave's quest and the newly recent quest that was from July. Along with doing the new skill, I was surprised when I gained my first skill pet a while back when this skill was new. And right now, I have 4 skill pets, including one from Divination, Woodcutting, and Agility. And recently, I have a few skills in the 99 mark, which are Thieving, Divination, and Archaeology. I'm hoping I can get more skill pets along with getting more skills to 99 and completing more quests. And for one of them I've started, Curse of the Black Stone, I'm working on getting some help with not just the Elite Dungeons themselves, but with getting the right equipment. That's all that's been going on right now. Hoping to do a progress report before my membership ends in December.

Herblore is now the last skill on the goal list to reach 90. Now, I'll work through the last of the player owned port storyline starting tomorrow. In the meantime, I'll be working on other skills with the intent on either getting them to 99 or get their skill pets. You know, I should make another section for skill pets. What do you guys think?

Ok, here's an update of what's been happening so far. The newly released quest, Heartstealer. came out, which was fitting because it came out days before Valentine's Day and that works. I've gained another skill in the 99 mark with hunter, though I did not get its pet yet despite doing all the work on Big Game Hunter. Oh well, that puts it on the list of skill pets I need to find eventually. On the plus side, both Firemaking and Woodcutting aren't far behind to reach level 99. And with news that the next quest, Azzanadra's Quest, will be coming out this Monday, that's another quest I'll be looking forward to, despite not completing Sliske's Endgame and Curse of the Black Stone :| . And I just hope that the upcoming quest won't be just as hard or long as some of the others. Here's hoping to get that done before March.

It's been a while since I did an update on this, so here it is. I've gained a couple more skills into 99 level with Woodcutting and Firemaking, though the latter I've not gained a skill pet from, yet. A couple of quests are released to warm us up to the Elder God Wars, which are Azzanadra's Quest and City of Senntisten. Oh, and there is a mini quest between the two with the Battle of the Monolith, which is just wrapping up at the time of this post. I'm not sure if I'll ever do the new God Wars dungeon since most of the so far are combat related, but I'll have to wait and see.

Well, I completed City of Senntisten yesterday, and it was a bit easier than expected, except for a couple of parts. The part that had me worried was with shadow damage as I explore the buried city as it does beg the question: If shadow damage happens every 5 seconds to you while in the "shadows" when we can remedy that with active light orbs on the pedestals, shouldn't shadow damage actually work while standing in the shadows of the buildings as opposed to in the open light? But, that's just a speculation. I did have trouble with transporting one of the wards to the central church as I died a safe death a few times while trying to stay alive from shadow damage. I eventually figured that part out by stopping at a building halfway and then continue from there. Oh, and one of the wards I almost had trouble transporting was the shadow ward. Weird, eh O_o . Another part that almost got me stumped was with the monster fights. The gargoyles aren't bad, though I almost died a couple of times to some of them, but the vampire monster was the one I had to be very careful with. After a bit of study on the wiki, I had to avoid using bleed abilities as they heal him, but he almost had me at the ropes when he heals himself with a ability that Nex probably uses, so it took me the second try to take him down; and no, I didn't die on the first try, thankfully. Now, as this quests lead up to the Elder God Wars event starting next month, it does that buildup well. As the new upcoming dungeon is also PvM like the previous God Wars dungeons, I'm really not sure if I can compete with the bosses there, since I'm not a PvM type player, yet.

I know I had to update the list late at night before the day of its release, but I think its best I do it now rather than later. I'll say it now that I'm looking forward to the last Elder God Wars quest, Extinction, while at the same time it makes me wonder if the world we live on will stay intact or not and how that can be achieved, but that's the quest for tomorrow.

I've started Extinction almost 2 hours ago, and it already got me started with some combat. I would've thought at one point, I was going to die, but thankfully, I was able to handle the first part of the quest. Here's hoping I survive the rest of the quest, and not just me either. O_o

I meant to put up this post after I completed Extinction yesterday, but I got preoccupied and didn't do anything about it till now, but I suppose it's better late than never. I actually enjoyed the quest for the most part. It's interesting that we got a first glimpse of Erebus, even though we don't get to see much of it, as well as the threat that the Shadow Breach can cause since we first saw a contained one in the Monolith during the Battle of the Monolith. While the final battle on Iaia was a bit frustrating, especially during the rounds with the Muspah and the Seren aspects were very difficult, I kept on trying to survive and pulled through. Even though the title of the quest is called Extinction, I think it should have been called Near-Extinction, especially when Mah was killed years ago, Jas was pulled into Erebus by a shadow leviathan with Kerapac being pulled along with her, and then Bik, Ful, and Wen do end up reincarnated, albeit in a weakened state where they can't traverse planets as they are. As for Seren and Zaros? Zaros is still in Erebus for all we know and Seren is on Iaia taking care of the reincarnated Elder Gods, although it does make me wonder what would happen if she found me first before I find her. Ah well, that's speculation on my part. With that quest out of the way, I'll be focusing between the newly released quest, Twilight of the Gods, and work on both Dream of Iaia and work on the new skill spots at the Anachronia Farm to possibly get some post-quest dialogue in.

Hi, guys. Before I get onto the game to start Daughter of Chaos, I would like to announce something exciting. I finished the 4th Elite Dungeon (The Zamorakian Undercity), in story mode, without dying to the boss and without bailing out :D . As its the new dungeon that was released last month, along with the miniquest, Aftermath, I felt that I should do that since I'm on track with the story going for it. However, I would like to be honest about it because at first, I was scared to do it. Sure, there are quest bosses that do make me feel scared because I wasn't sure if I could survive the battle or not. But for Elite Dungeons, its something I've never done before. And sure, I've had a taste of doing an Elite Dungeon with Temple of Aminishi with another player, though we couldn't beat down the final boss. Even if I could do it again in solo mode, I don't think I could get past the first floor without dying, especially since most the monsters in the dungeon use abilities, and I wasn't sure if the other two have ability-using monsters too. After much research and careful treading through the Zamorakian Undercity, I was able to push through without any trouble, though I can't remember if I died at one point, but I was able to continue where I left off, which is a good thing, and reached the final boss of the dungeon, and it took me 2 tries to take him down without wasting food and without dying. Since I got through the Elite Dungeon without to some difficulty, I'll do the new quest next and then work on killing some demons in the wilderness as its reward include an upgrade to the infernal box I found in the Elite Dungeon. Speaking of, if luck is on my side, after I do those two things, I'll probably do the Dragonkin Laboratory next since I found there are not a lot of monsters that use abilities. Wish me luck.
