You can do it.

Took me 4 months at Zmi, but I managed it somehow. (From level 84) And yes, I was slacking around.. cause it gets rather boring.

Another way to train Runecrafting: Try to do Tears of Guthix (once a week) and the Troll Invasion (once a month) and the ZMI Altar for more xp (and various runes from the ZMI Altar)

Runecrafting is a terribly slow skill, It's my lowest. It would take me approximately 7 hours to get 68-69 doing laws from Castle wars.
Summoning is fairly quick if you put the time into it, I'm nearly 99 myself.
