You have me curious now, mine says I have 9561 hours played so far, I created my character in april of 01. I think it only tracks the days played only so far back, most likely around the time that the feature of checking our time was added, of course I'm not entirely sure on this.
Perhaps, but I think it only records the amount of time accumulated while the character is actually logged in-game. Gratz on your 9.5k hours
