Journey to a "Neat" Cape? YES!

The party was kind of a fail though, not going to lie. My internet was acting horrible that day, sadly. I couldn't stay logged on for more than 5 minutes!
Not only that, but I missed my own "congratulations" because of disconnecting. That doesn't really matter to me though, as long as people were there.
My next goal that's left of this thread is Summoning. I'm currently 93 (111+12). I'm not sure how long it will take me to get 99. I kind of want to continue with Slayer to get the charms, even though that will be slow. I hate killing just one monster constantly for charms. (i.e. Waterfiends for Crimsons), it gets boring very fast. So I think I may continue with Slayer to get those charms. To speed things up -- I'll probably go to the Chaos Tunnels for more charm drops.
I kill Waterfiends at the Ghorrock place in the Wilderness for my Slayer assignments. I've actually tried it recently with a cannon and melee'ed them, and it seemed to work better than Ranging them in the Ancient Caverns. Plus, they drop double charms there, which is extra nice.
(I wanted a different method of killing them and this is what I did whenever I was last assigned Waterfiends, I just forgot to mention it in the past).
Enough of my talk.... I'll probably just get some small things done, and take a break from combat I guess. (I deserve it!) I'll probably wait until the beta comes out. So, who knows when I'll get 99 Summoning. Could be another year from now for all I care.
Thank you everyone for coming again yesterday and for the continued support. It has overall taken me ~ 3+ years to achieve 99 Slayer, now that I really think about it.

You could use any spare points to cancel tasks based on how good they are for charms, with exceptions for any tasks you enjoy anyway or feel are worth doing for money. Also possibly look into Familiarisation to get that 40 minute period of triple charms, haven't tried it myself but there are some chats out there who mention when it's available. Also Bork can get 7k exp worth of charms using a ring of wealth & that's daily, or double that exp after the Varrock Elite tasks. Not necessarily best to do after a task in the Chaos Tunnels in case you're low on supplies but that's personal opinion.
Really you should just get a pet Monkey & forget about the other levels
Enjoy a very much well earned break from combat, interested to see what other goals you'll be working on though I wouldn't be surprised if you focused on Farming

Sorry for not really updating things. Haven't really been on that much.
My week consisted of: getting a level in Firemaking, and doing a bit of Runecrafting. Possibly thinking about getting 80 for the robe top, which I may go for.
I have been Farming! How did you not know?
I need to get a bit of questing done, but haven't really been in the mood to quest.
I also signed up for the Beta. I'm excited for it, really. I've been reading along the updates as Jagex has been giving them, and watching the videos of course on the homepage. I think it's what Runescape needs, but there will always be that nostalgic feeling.
Who knows what this week will bring..... :p

Gl with farm Neat. I have good news. Rite when I was about to leave RS a friend donated lotsa Rs gold to me and after spendin it on summ I decided to stay on. RS is fun again

^ Jadinko task... I never really enjoyed doing that task, but the exp was worth it. I ranged them with sagaies from a distance. It was still very slow. If you don't feel like doing them though, then skip them. The time you take to do them, you could roughly have gotten two other tasks down. It's your choice though! Plus, the drops aren't half bad.

I've gotten a few whips from time to time, but recently since the last tasks I've had of them, they've seem to be completely dry. I've gotten 1-3 Staff of Lights from Icce Strykewyrms before, but they've been dry too, recently.
As for effigies - well, you know. Rarely have gotten any since the nerf.
What am I working on now? Nothing really. I've been quite bored for the past few days, but I did get a few things done. Finally got 80 Runecrafting and got the robe top and colored it green! It's nice getting lots of blood runes daily! I've also been Farming, of course. Reached 48M Farming exp a few days ago. I might get Smithing & Construction to 80.

I'm not really fond of the new Combat Level formula at all. I'll automatically be lvl 200.
Quite sad, really. I'm going to miss be being lvl 123. Then again, Jagex did say that anything is subjected to change before it comes into the live game. So I won't be training my combat anytime soon. If it does come into the live game, then I'm not sure what I'll do. I'll probably think more on it when the beta comes out. I am for everything else though. Combat seems like it will finally be more realistic.

This week I'll be fairly busy. So I'm not sure what I plan on doing. Maybe get some Chompy Kills in for more hats. Iffy though. :p
Monday & Tuesday I'll be away.
Wednesday is my college orientation!
Thursday & Friday - no plans yet, but that could change before then.
