Just saw this forum and thought I would add my info...I got my untrimmed slayer cape in Sept. 2009. It took me like a year and a half and I got it by using cannon and poison and jade vine and randoms. Penguins came out part way through and helped too. Soul wars wasnt out until I almost had my cape and I never played it.

If you're still here, "Awful Herbie" (unless he changed his name again) is another combat 3 with untrimmed slayer cape. He got his cape during December 2010.
There are no noobs, just players worse than me.
