Black Feather Nexus

I was mildly excited to complete Heroes' Quest again to get access to the guild, but I had forgotten how trash of a place it actually is. Also, many thanks to IdylIic for helping me out on the gang part, as well as gifting me 100k! > )

The approval gathering for Throne of Miscellania was pretty confusing, when even upon checking the rating at 100%, the woman tending to the farming patches kept asking me "who are you again?". All that time I had thought the process was slower than it actually was.

Again, very nice progress with the quests, but remember to enjoy while it lasts. Those classic quests are very nostalgic. Also, looks like you are already catching me up on some skills! You should do at least some agility levels at Wildy course to get the true old school experience! Cheers!

Wildy course never really has been that nostalgic for me; I did do it during a bxp weekend for a time back when there were still gradually decreasing multiplier bxp weekends, but Brimhaven agility arena is the real "old school" experience for me. That one is still definitely in the plans.

I'm coming with you then! I did 1-70 mostly at Brimhaven agility arena (not in OSRS but in the old days). For the first levels I was jumping over the low wall again and again. Remember everyone saying "Matrix!" when they dodged the darts? So cool memories... But in OSRS I did Wildy course for the true experience.

Completed my least favorite quest so far today; Desert Treasure is infuriatingly frustrating, especially the ice diamond part as constant stat drain and slippery stumbling just isn't funny.

Yeah, I also did early leveling there before OSRS, but the funny thing is it's backwards now; it's more suited for endgame leveling, provided that you complete some of the diaries. So if you want to come with me you'll have to wait until the last leg (although agility is high in my priority list after questing)!

Spent most of the day doing crazy things in the jungle and chasing down a demon multiple times... not sure if it was worth it for a cape that has worse stats than obby cape! > )

Early level hunting was absolute trash, but I found my love for hunter again via lizards, probably chinchompas later as well. Sadly, no time for real hunter training yet.

Training day for medium diaries; didn't get more than one completed today, but made significant progress towards completing a few others, so all of them should be complete soon^tm. Overall it seems to me that OSRS diaries are one difficulty tier higher than the respective RS3 diaries, even though some tasks are shared between both games.

Do you mean you get Karamja gloves 4 first (91 rc required)? We can go later then (but I'm too lazy to do more than 1 hour or something).

Day 2 of working through medium diaries, only one left to go! Training slayer took a very long time, probably because I still have too crappy stats to efficiently train it.

RNG in all the wrong places; apparently, cooking the snake for the monkey in RFD is easy to fail at the minimum cooking level, so I took a few extra with me, and they all cooked successfully. Meanwhile, dragon defender (1/100) took almost exactly 100 kills, which became more frustrating when several people came there to also get theirs, and they all were much luckier than me and finished in 20-50 kills. I guess I should blame that monkey! > )

Lots of venturing in the elven lands today, I could've tried to do MEPII as well, but knowing that you stop failing agility checks in that quest with 91 or higher agility... well... > )

It also felt a bit weird seeing some of the elves in OSRS that reside in Prifddinas in RS3, knowing that they'll probably never have their city opened up in this version of the game.
