Idk about your other bossing, but IMO using the unrefined anima cores for GWD2 bosses (other than Telos and maybe Greg, I'vent done enough Greg to say though) is better than ports armor can still heal enough with vampyrism aura + resonance (or soul split for Twin Furies), extra damage and no degrade costs.

I'd buy a set but I don't wanna spend the ~54M on it right now

Even though my Tetsu set does degrade and needs repaired, it basically costs 2.1m for me to repair the full set from 0%.
Tetsu lasts 12 hours minimum but usually lasts longer than that, Wiki stating about 20 hours from intense combat.

so ~54M/2.1m is about 25/26 uses of Tetsu armour. 25 times 12 = 300 hours minimum, or 25 x 20 = 500 hours of intense combat. or going off my average of 24 Vindicta kills an hour, 12,000 Vindictas.

More than enough for my current goal fighting Vindicta.

Though I know I omitted being able to sell the anima core afterwards but with the way Crest of Zaros has been dropping by GE Graph I don't feel like buying it atm.

Fair point, buuuuut: since the unrefined anima cores don't degrade, you could sell them after you're done using them.

Sorry, I don't mean to pester, I just hate degradation on armor (for weapons it's okay)

Well I'll buy a set for tomorrow and see how my battle goes.

I just hope the Crest's price dropping doesn't cause too much of a problem

I was not used to the lower defence and life points and ended up dying this run.
Sorry it works for magic though, probably since you don't reduce defense with something like berserk.
