Today, I was lucky enough to get my first skilling pet when

jumped straight into my inventory at 38,839,136 thieving experience, so I feel fairly fortunate.

I'm very amused at the conversation Ralph has which I won't share here so as not to spoil it for others, but feel very lucky to have found this pet.

Hi Everyone,

Today I completed the search for Lex's Plushies and received
Drakkles
.
Drakkles is a Plushie, but still sort of like a pet so including him in pets achieved.

I continue to fail to get mean Phoenix, or any skilling pets.
Persistence will pay off eventually.

Not sure if you wanted to include Summoning pets or not (such as the Chameleon) but since you listed the other Dungeoneering related ones I think the Sneakerpeeper is missing there.

To be honest I don't know a lot about the pets. I'm not one for bossing either so this is personally more related to skilling pets (but generally applies to pets of chance); I find them a nice little motivation on the side, knowing that when I'm doing something I might find one. Then it becomes easier to stick with something I might usually stop after a short period of time, perhaps try a skill I haven't done much recently, or for yourself it may be less frustrating than feeling like you've done something for so long without any success. It's not so useful for something like the Phoenix, but I hope it helps a little to think about with activities you'd do anyway had pets not been available with them.

Well done for the many pets you've gathered so far, all the best with the rest ;) If you want some company for any skilling, I'll gladly join you.

Thanks for your information and support. I've not added most summoning pets, aside from blue, black, green and red dragon because getting them, for me, was an achievement in itself. The main reason I haven't added them is because they're mostly not chance in that you can get the components needed and just make them. I've added Sneakerpeeper, so thanks very much for that.

I do have a Chameleon, and love it, so cute and love the way it changes colour. I suppose it should be included just for nostalgic reasons. I used to take it everywhere, except when I took my Bunyip, but then I got my phoenix. The best thing about the Phoeix is it's cuteness, but also it's rarity. I love it. I worked really hard towards getting it, and it took so long to be lucky enough to finally get one, and that was actually my main motivation for starting to collect pets. The mean one is just as evasive and just as cute, and I'm looking forward to getting it just as much.

I'm more than happy for anyone to join me in finding pets together. I've been doing some slayer, and try a little of most skills, but have just started to try for the dungeoneering one because I'm only one level off eddimmu and also need a dungeon rock. It's taking me forever because I mostly solo, and totally skill there - yes, I know, pure experience waste, but more fun.

I'm happy to skill together anytime, and you're more than welcome to message me and invite to join you with any skill to get a pet.

Hi Everyone,

Today I did Phoenix and did not get a phoenix eggling in my inventory, but after teleing from Phoenix to Bork using Varrock 4 top, I got the above message. I hope I didn't inadvertently miss the eggling, as I can't think of any other reason I'd get that message. I went back, but whatever it was had already disappeared. ......Sigh...... Persistence will pay off and I will eventually get this elusive phoenix eggling pet.
