Does it really matter how long someone's had a goal for? Does it hurt you? Noone cares that you have almost 2b xp, how much of that was from donations or begging?

What seems small to you is an achievement for someone else, some people just don't have as much time on their hands as you do. Maybe you should do something about that instead of putting others down.

Not really about how long you've had it so long as it's actually manageable to complete. If this keeps up, OP will probably retire irl before getting this done... or runescape shuts down. And if there's anything on too much supply in this world, it's unfinished projects that end up lost forever. Why? Because people set their goals way too high at the start.

Tbh if you support these without any "but"s, you prepare them for an even greater letdown when they sooner or later realize they can't finish what they started. The journey might be its own fun, but not reaching the destination is always disappointing. (But seriously what's with people getting so easily offended when all you do is reason?)
