Hi guys, I'm a long-time member (nearly 12 years!!)
I have my main account and this account, my only Alt

I have an idea which seems, in my head, pretty awesome.
It's in regards to Keepsake Keys.

My idea would be to achieve 120 Defence, 120 HP and 120 Prayer.
This would take a long time for me as I will keep my other combat stats at Level 1.
After I achieved this goal, I want to keepsake the 120 capes:
along with some other armour etc
Then reset the 3 skills; via Nastroth in Lumbridge.

My question is, will I still be able to use the capes as an override item
or will it be removed as I will no longer have the required stats to wear it/own it?

I'm really excited by this item even though I know it will take a long time.
So, please, if you know the answer, let ME know!

First time post on the forums, too.
So please go easy if this is in the wrong place.

Yeah, Tenebri is correct. You need to keep the stats to wear the capes. Once those high stats are gone, so is your ability to wear these capes, even if keepsaked.

Interesting idea though, and you can still do it...just without resetting your skills. As you said, it will take a long time. It just seems it would be a shame to lose all that work, just to wear a few capes you no longer have the stats to wear - IF it could be done, but it can't.
