Unfortunately, I don't think there's much that can be done about it at the moment, as from what I can gather, there's no way for a user to edit their interface. I've tried to do some digging across variou social media platforms and it appears that while nobody is complaining about this specific issue, people are raising concerns over the buff bar in general.
Having looked through the settings, it appears you can turn the individual buff displays off, so maybe you'd wish to consider doing this as a short-term solution.
It's one of those things that only really presents itself as an issue if you wish to type a message. Luckily, Mobile is only in Beta, so we have to expect some teething problems.
I'd support a solution similar to what you've proposed on other threads and here - IE moving it slightly.
