The arrow that displays when you tap to walk or interact with something needs to be

red

when you tap something you are going to interact with. Example: a tree or mining rock.

I am always unsure if I targeted the ground or my sandstone.

It's red for me when I click something interactable, a quick red circle comes up. If it's not it's yellow.
