I have the same problem as you.

My phone is a Xiaomi Mi 5X, it has Android 8.1 installed and decent specs such as: 4gb Ram / Octa-core 2.0gHz.

I'd love a quick patch for this issue. I'm really frustrated as it has been announced that the game would be available for all Android 6+ devices with member accounts.

Android 6 is just one of the requirements another one is being supported and since Jagex wants for us the best experience possible, they unsupported bunch of devices more than capable ones and vice versa. (Who knows why).

You can sideload the app but i wouldn't recommend you do it via some website because it could compromise your security big time. Let your friend or family member with compatible device download it and transport it to you via sd card,usb etc. But only if you know what you're doing and try if it works for you.
Bad thing is, you'd have to do it every update of the game which is pretty enoying.

i have Redmi Note 7 too, smooth, no crashes etc. and the same applies on around a year in beta. i don't understand this kind of behavior, doing one thing and saying exact opposite.

i'm gonna play until my membership ends and if im not gonna be able to download the app the right way before premier club sale ends, im not coming back.
