The current UI has the minimap in the bottom-right corner, instead of the top-right corner. This is not a good position.

Firstly, it is unnatural. The minimap has always been in the top right, and this is the position most players are familiar with. To all of a sudden move that to a different position was jarring and unfamiliar, as well as making it lose functionality (as indicated by my next two points).

Secondly, my thumb often hovers over that area of the screen. The minimap is now almost always completely covered by my thumb, and I have to awkwardly move it in order to view or use it. The old position had my thumb hovering over the bottom part of the backpack, which was fine as I seldom needed to see that.

Thirdly, you can no longer use both sides of the action bar with the minimap open. This makes it very difficult to do certain PVM/bossing encounters where one would need to access both the action bar and the minimap.

Please, Jagex, if you see this, please move the minimap back to the top-right position where it should be.

Agreed it just makes things worse y'all always screw things up when there was nothing wrong with the original way it was

when is qc getting turned back on? Mobile is opening soon and u still haven't even fixed one of the original problems

Move the icons at the top back to where they were too getting tired of trying to type and I open a completely unneeded interfaces like the stupid store trying to get me to spend money

For the love of God jagex stop making stupid changes we don't need. The new location for the mini map does not work for me.. its in the way of everything and I can't use both action bar because I need the mini map to run around! Completely ruins pvm for everyone

Minimap should not be on bottom .. I think you should consider swapping your UX designers :) I understand placing nav bars on bottom in mobile is good thing but it applies only in WEB .. This new UI layout making mobile gaming less intuitive and harder, its hard to click on this, overlapping half of skill bar is crazy problem. Most ppl using minimap maximized all the time.
